Released back to exercise today after I took a tumble a couple weeks ago. Depressed and losing weight are not good combinations for me. I wish I was one of those gals who exercised and didn't eat when depressed. Unfortunately that's not me which is why I am obese.

I am ready to get back at it and lose the 5# I have gained

Well, I weighed in at 216 this week. I guess diet alone isn't going to make things happen for me on the scale. Feeling strong enough to get back to my P90X this week! Looking forward to a GREAT week!

    Tried something new today...

    T25-325 calories in 27 min

Not sure what I think yet. This is much different that P90x3 but I am going to commit to it for at least two weeks to see what I think.

T25-325 calories in 27 minutes....are you using a heart rate monitor to track you calorie burn? Is it hiit? Let me know what you think.....I am looking for something....I have done the original P90x...It was 1.75 hours worth of commitment 7 days of week which burned me out a little. I could do three pull ups when I was done so it made me strong. Do you like P90x3?

    Hi @emshields1

I have a Garmin Vivoactive HRM and it tracks my activity, steps, calories burned during workouts... I really like it. It is my replacement to the BodyMedia activity tracker that retired in Jan. I didn't have much luck with the fitbit HRM activity trackers. It was not as accurate as I wanted it to be. Thus I returned it and got my Garmin. I am happy with it thus far.

Anyways, to be honest, it has been only two days and I am not sold on the T25 program yet. I LOVE LOVE LOVE P90X3 and think I will be going back to it instead. Many family members are having great success with T25 but I am a lot heavier than they are, 216# and I prefer to feel like I am building strength rather than just getting cardio.

The T25 has too much jumping, it hurts my feet, knees and back. The modifier is always on there but when I do what she is doing I don't feel like I am working hard enough.

I burned 267 calories today doing their Speed 1.0 but I will be going back to P90X3 tomorrow...

If you did P90X you will LOVE P90X3! Only 30 min 6 days per week!!! Plus it makes me feel so strong!

Thanks for the info on the heart monitor. I have been looking at them just don't know which one is best. I have a Garmin Vivofit and I really like it. I think I just need to splurge and get the HRM and see if it helps me push in my work outs. The P90x3, is it structured like the old P90x where you hit different muscle groups on different days? Does Tony lead it? I am really trying to find something that is sustainable long term....

I am back! Starting over with a clean slate today as if today was my first day.

Not happy with my weight today, but then again, I have no one to blame but me. I am starting P90X3 over again today being I have not been consistant. Looking forward to feeling great again!

    Ready. Set. Go!

    Starting Weight: 219.5
    Goal: 175
