I'm just starting but I hope this group helps me stay motivated. Staying motivated has been my biggest weakness lately.0 -
I am new to the group. I have been on the Whole 30 plan. I have 7 more days to complete the 30 days. I have cut out sugars. grains. dairy and alcohol! This is the first time I have been able to stay on a plan! I look forward to this thread. An active thread really foes help.

This week had some great highs and not so great lowes. On the high side I am finally seeing my body thin out, sugary things are starting to taste bad and while workouts are getting more intense I feel up to the challenge! On top of that my trainer wants to start training me for a 5k this summer!
On the low side I didn't loose as much as I wanted because I had a bad food day Wed and it threw off my whole week. And my wedding rings no longer fit right and I have to wear them on a chain now (this was far more emotional then I thought it would be).0 -

Sucesses/Struggles:
I was so sick this week with a stomach virus, so I missed workouts all week, didn't eat great, and lost 5 lbs in 2 days. (Oh no!) But the up side is that I've managed to put back 3 of those 5, which I'm sure were just water weight. I'm happy for the small gain, even though that's not the overall goal.
This coming week is getting back on the horse and finding my motivation again.

Successes/Struggles:
I lost a pound, which is great - the scale is going the right way but I'm still a bit disappointed, I was hoping for more since I did really well this week. I've got annoying bloating going on this week so I should pull a bigger number next week! Also, I successfully avoided cake/ice cream at my Grandparents last night!
Keep up the great work you guys, 5 months from now you'll thank yourself!

3 lb down this week! This week has been by far my easiest week when it comes to making my calorie goals. I am happy that it is growing on me! I struggle with adding exercise though. I am active at work, but I would like to incorporate some strength training and cardiovascular workouts as well.0 -

Total loss, 10.6lbs but I had a rough period and a lot of stress the past two weeks. First week I went up five then lost it then hovered around another five and now it's down again. Very curious to see what next week brings this is very stressful I'm starting to not believe the scale with it going so up and back down again. I did do measurements and since starting in January I have lost a total of 31" ( total of whole body tallied up together ) so I was happy to see that but I'm not seeing it yet or feeling it.1 -

Struggles - I had more cheat meals this week with family, but fortunately it didn't seem to do too much damage. I noticed I am becoming more mentally relaxed about my diet which will kill it so I have to recoup and tighten the wheels.
Successes - 5lb loss! I want to be at 170 by June, so I have just under 2 months to lose 20lbs? I am motivated by my loss so far (10lbs in 3 weeks) to try and accomplish that goal!0 -

I struggled a lot this week with trying not to overeat on my days off of work. Also, last weekend I went out for drinks and totally blew my calories that night. So I am very relieved that I still made my weekly goal.3 -

Struggles/Success: I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of this. I started a 'no-junk-food' challenge this week and I'm really proud of myself for not cheating! Need to lose 8 more pounds by the end of the month to be on track for this challenge - honestly I don't think that will happen, but would love to get below 215 this month, that should be doable!6 -

Struggles/Successes:
Stress eating is one of my biggest downfalls. That combined with a trip last week put me up a few pounds, but I'm happy to report that I lost that weight plus an extra pound.

Had about ten bad days. Didn't gain but didn't lose. Finally got back on track and down again. I eat when I am tired and working night shift means the struggle is constant! It's a marathon, not a sprint... Ok for this challenge it's like a sprint2 -

Struggles - It feels like I'm not losing any weight even though I look at the scale each week and obviously I am. I feel like I should be losing more, and faster, though I know I have to be happy with my progress because I have lost 14 lbs since this started.
Successes - I'm not really missing the foods I used to eat. I used to be able to and get cravings for a 1kg tub of cookies and cream icecream and could eat it in a sitting. Now I don't even eat an individual piece of chocolate every day. I don't drink anything besides water except on the odd occasion - trivia night with friends I have a drink, every now and again I have a diet coke with my sister. But otherwise I don't even crave other drinks.5 -
You are doing awesome @JuliaDiscoFit!!! 14# is a lot for 4 weeks!!! Don't be so hard on yourself3
