ROLL OF THE DICE WORKOUT
Want a different workout every time?
Just roll the dice!

All you need is 2 dice and some room to workout.
Each workout should include at least 5 dice rolls, but you can do more based upon your fitness level.

The sum of the 2 dice determines the activity you do.

Roll a 2 - 20 JJs

Roll a 3 - 20 Lunges (10 ea side)

Roll a 4 - 30 High Knees (15 ea side)

Roll a 5 - 5 Pushups

Roll a 6 - 10 Crunches on your Exercise Ball

Roll a 7 - 10 Squats

Roll an 8 - 40 Mtn Climbers (20 on ea side)

Roll a 9 - 40 Skaters (20 on ea side)

Roll a 10 - 50 Jump Ropes (no rope required)

Roll an 11 - 30 Butt Kicks (15 on ea side)

Roll a 12 - 50 Punches (25 on ea side)

I'm excited. I think this will be fun. Modify where necessary!!

What is this on each side crap? ;);) And where are the burpees? And I believe Paula said something about 12 sided dice? She needs some more exercises! >:)

You left the exercise ball just so we could laugh at ourselves when we roll onto the floor, didn't you?

I was watching Cize advertisements on TV this am, almost made me want to join in. Man can that man rock!

"No stinking @#$%^& for you, Shelley!!" These words were spoken by the VP of the 1,000 No Burpees Club!! ...these words were spoken out loud!! Also...the one-sided crap? that comes from me, too...just in case!!! Look, my sweet, darling friend, I gave you 5...count them...5 push ups, and I expect them to be regular toe push ups from you. None of this knee/wall/counter push ups the rest of us do. (Michelle, I don't know, yet, if you're a toe-girl or a knee-girl, so this is not aimed at you...yet!) Okay? We good? o:)<3:D

Paula, I left the exercise ball in because you had so much stinking fun with it! And who is this Cize person?

Okay, I'm ready...dice rattling in my hand. Let's see what rolls out! Oh, rats...all sides are blank! :p

    Love you guys!!

Kathy I am glad it is not anything serious with your mom. I so know how you feel. My mom has had a few issues lately also. Hoping they both are up to enjoying their summer. B) Hopefully you will not be as stressed the next time you play tennis. Glad the team won 2 though. o:)

Thanks everyone. I just really hope that she retires soon. She tries to make my life miserable. But I will outlast her. She is just mean and lonely. She has never had anyone living with her in the 12 years I have known her. Lived with her mom until she passed away a few years ago.

Chris I rolled my dice for you, they were not blank. >:) Now get to doing them. B)

I walked our boys yesterday. Timmy is getting slow. :'( But when I rolled the dice they only rolled variations of 8! Good thing I like mountain climbers!

My mom is home and resting comfortably. She needs to take it easy for a couple of days and that's pretty much it. I was totally beat when I got home so I actually took a nap. I got up and finished unpacking and started laundry.

Then I decided to play the dice game so I could get in some exercises. I completed 2, 10, 6, 8, & 5. I was sweating when I finished.

Shelley - I like mountain climbers too.

Paula- I've been watching the CIZE infomercial. It looks like fun. Someone at my WW meeting has it and she has loss 19lbs in about 6 weeks. She loves it.

Chris - Paula isn't the only one falling off the ball. I did so badly that I got on the floor and did twenty more crunches to make up. :)

    Okay, Shelley, here goes the dice...5, 6, 6, 9 & 10...Rats!! I got push ups!! Man! :s

I get to fall off the ball too! Fun!

Walked w/DH this morning 5.10 miles in 93 mins (7.26 miles for 15,390 steps so far) then 14.00 recumbent miles in 49 mins and an episode of Bosch then went to lunch w/work friends. A good day so far. Now to get to the dice rolls!

Hope you all have a fun Tuesday!

    I did 2X5 rolls...9, 7, 5, 10, 6, then 7, 7, 6, 6, 11...which means:

    5 pushups
    30 crunches
    21 squats
    40 skaters
    50 jump ropes
    30 butt kicks

    Getting to it right now!

    :p

Looked up the Cize stuff. Interesting. Don't think I can move like that.

Walked w/DH and Bean for 5.10 miles this morning (6.53 total miles for 14,251 steps) then got on the recumbent for 13.00 miles in 48 mins then did our Roll of the Dice challenge. I'm done. I'll read for a while.

Hope you all had a great day!

Kathy you had me laughing! So happy that you also like Mtn. Climbers. And those silly balls are made for falling off of! So happy to hear your mom is resting comfortable. <3

Paula I will have to look into him dancing. Sounds fun! o:)

Chris I hate butt kickers! Glad you rolled them and not me!

I rolled 5,12,10,7 & 8. I dislike jumpropes! But the rest I doubled. :D And was sweating right along with Kathy!

Kathy glad you're mom is doing better.
Seeing foot doc today. Hoping I can resume walking, stair climbing etc.
when I can do regular exercise I do toe push-ups, not wall ones.
Like the dice idea, will see what doc says and modify if need be.

Ben got the walking group going today at work - same day as my bike ride - got back from walk in time to ride. Can you say wobbly legs and grasping cubicle walls to get around all afternoon? Like Chris, a good glisten. Yeppity yep.

Flat tire after work, calculated in my mind how many hours it would take to bicycle home (20miles) before remembering AAA card. Nice young man with muscles and a good jack. Such a luxury.

Doc said I could ease back into things, not running, but walking. Supposed to cut back if pain comes back. So walked, not ran, up the stairs at work. Thanks for the finger crossing, I think it worked. Have to go back in 6 weeks to check with him.

Walked again today and scheduled for tomorrow too. My newest trick is walking to a restaurant for lunch, and nibble all the way back. That way I can get a half-hour walk and a meal both into our half-hour lunch break.

Clara, glad the walking works! Fingers crossed!!

Chris, when I see 5'7" blond women about my age in Half Moon Bay, I always wonder if maybe you are wandering over to the beach that day.

Paula, it wasn't me. I don't have blond hair...salt and pepper would describe it these days. Did she have a puppy with her? Ya gotta love AAA. Glad the flat worked out in a "nice" way. :o

    Kathy nice practice and steps!

    Clara walking is good.

Walked w/DH and Bean this morning for 5.10 miles (7.73 total miles for 16,668 steps) then got on the bike for 15.00 miles in 54 mins and an episode of Bosch then went to 1st grade and stayed late then shopped. Now I'm making chili and sitting down. I am so sore from yesterday's workout. Man!

Hope you all have a great Friday!

Ok got in some dice rolling today. Also lots of running up and down the stairs. I was going to move the fish all into the large tank this weekend. But had a huge setback. Not sure, but leaning towards the rocks as a possible patient zero. Tut and Al have marine ich. Fred is still safe in his quarantine tank. So I once again drained down the tank. Caught all the fish and put them into a quarantine tank. I will leave the display tank fallow, no fish, for 10 weeks. During that time I will deal with the nasty parasite on the fish. I sure hope I do not lose any. But on a good note my dendro looks great. It snowed today. Only about 2 inches, but it was heavy wet stuff. But it was warmer this afternoon, so mostly melted.

We had a large tree cut down Friday. It was dead. :(

My team did not have a very good day. We loss 4 of 5 matches. My partner and I didn't get to play because of an emergency on the other team. I was very disappointed...I really wanted to play. We have 2 more spring matches before a break before summer starts.

    Chris great miles as usual.

Shelley you're never a bum. :) You work so hard. BTW I have lilies getting ready to bloom. I always think of you.

    Have a good week ladies!

Kathy, Thanks and I hope you get to play in the next games.

Shelley it was almost 85 yesterday. It's 86 right now at 6:00 in the evening! And you have snow...crazy! And, like Kathy said, you are never a bum!
