Hi all, I so glad that I found this group. I just recently purchased Leslie’s Miracle Miles DVD’s and begin searching for a group that I could join so that I could stay motivated and be accountable. I’m good at starting but never staying on course. My goal for the remainder of the month is to do 20 miles.

Oh my gosh! I have been so buried with work that I did not come close to my goal for March! :grumble: Only 84.6 miles and the goal was 108.5! However, all my exams are now ready to go and graduation is in 2 weeks so things have lightened up for me! No so much for the students though! :laugh:
I'm lowering April a bit because I get demotivated when I do not make goal. This goal I should be able to do easily!

I haven't gotten any workouts in or walking but depression is setting in. I so need to walk.... You all are doing great.0

I'm so pleased - I just accomplished a personal goal.
I live 'near' an outdoor track. Last year I used to drive there!!!! and would walk a couple of laps - I know I got to 3, maybe 4 laps.
Until this year I never even considered that maybe I could actually walk there.
I just did it!
Walked there, and walked 1 lap. I am sure I could have done more, however coming home is all up hill and I wanted to make sure I could get home again. LOL
My goal now is to slowly add laps to this walk.
I do not know how to tally this stuff - I walked 30 minutes (stop watch).
My watch also says I went 3360 steps, and 1.25 miles. According to my watch, it takes me 2680 steps to equal 1 mile, I guess 'cause I'm short, and have a short stride.
Its so nice to see some of the spring blooms out now - blue scilla and periwinkle, and yellow daffodils. Lovely day in just a light sweater. Hard to believe we had snow 2 weeks ago.
My total is now 21 miles out of 35.4 -

I forgot to update my milage so far this month. I've tracked 32.41 miles so far.
I did 2 miles at the Park this AM. Hope to add another half mile to that tomorrow and on until I reach a 5k in the AM.0 -
I have just started back with My Fitness Pal after 3 years away. I love to do Leslie Sansone DVDs as well as hiking when I can. Just gonna jump in the middle here. Not sure of a goal. Will start with I would like to walk 15 miles this week.

Jeepers! Cold snap came through today. Yesterday it was 81 and today we are struggling to get to 60. To cold for me to walk outside in my opinion, but after 2 straight walks I'll take it easy I think, that ankle felt a little tight yet. Ran errands this AM and have over 1 mile tracked.0

It looks like yesterday I got ahead of myself, and added an extra mile to my total.
Today I walked 1.5 miles, outside, went to the track and did 2 laps before coming home. Total now is 30.9 miles out of 35
I don't know why but I'm not really enjoying these outside walks. I'd prefer to stay in and do a Leslie routine - and then sit outside reading.0
