    Wow! They are brave as so much controversy still exists. It is fantastic and I hope they succeed.

    I remember back in the 50's and 60's when I was in school ( a loooong time ago!) the lunches were almost all cooked with real food ( except Bologna and hot dogs) . The only snack available was a vending machine that dispensed apples. A few years later , around 1969 or 70 they started selling cookies and and peanut butter filled crackers. That was the beginning of a downhill slide. Originally we didn't have soda vending machines either.

    Wow. Pretty cool but I agree that it is a pretty bold move. Politically anyways.

    I imagine that most parents would go along with it. Who's going to argue it with, "I insist my son have access to sugar"? LOL
