Sorry for your loss @amylynn082 :(

And also congrats on still losing regardless, it's tough to stay focused during a loss of a loved one. We're here for you! <3

1.6 down from last week and I am happy about that! But I'm not going to lie, I am slightly disappointed that I am not losing as quickly as I was. Again, I have to incorporate more exercise! I wanted to be down to 240 by the end of April and while that looks unlikely, I am not giving up! I really want to be in onederland by the end of this challenge so I have to start doing more!

Success: I felt like I was plateauing the previous week, but finally managed to get past 250 - made it to 249.4! LOL Back at 250 now, but it's acceptable. I'm just happy that it was possible to get the scale to move a little.

Struggle: We lost power all day on Wed from storms, so it was rough eating right without a kitchen. It was definitely a mixed bag day of good and bad. Power eventually came back on, and couldn't be happier!

Getting past old cravings. Can't believe I've hit the "20 lbs lost" mark. I'm now one third of the way there - !?!! Very motivated to challenge myself a little more.

Still working on my stress eating. :( We lost a very special family member this week and my eating habits promptly went down the drain. Sigh. However, I still lost, so that's a positive. Stay strong ladies!

So sorry to read about your loss. *hugs*

Holy crap - I finally have movement! The weekend got the best of me again, but I've set myself with a very small goal of losing another pound by Sunday so I'll reach my 20lb weight loss mini goal, and stay motivated this weekend! :)

I'm also doing awesome with the C25K app, tonight I'll be doing Week 3 day 3. I'm sooo terrified to move to week 4 though, as I'll be running 5 minutes straight :# I guess I can re-do Week 3 if I find Week 4 too tough though.

@History1027 it sounds like our goals are just about the same - my weight has been fluctuating like crazy the last 3 weeks. Bouncing back and forth from 217 and 220-221 which is not only frustrating but almost de-motivating! What is your work out regimen like? What kind of diet are you doing? I've been doing low carb this last week and I lost 5lbs since Sunday (I went from 217 last friday back up to 221), it's almost like doing clean eating or paleo, but it worked :) if you want any more info on it feel free to message me!

I also have been bouncing between 221 - 219, driving me nuts!! I have a personal trainer who has be doing cardio, weight training and what he likes to call boot camp workouts. I have a diet of 1600 cal, trying to low in my sugar, salt and carb intake but it isn't really working lol.

@History1027 - totally understand your frustration! The weekends have been killing me between eating out and alcohol, I was doing really well all weekend until Mother's Day, my Hubby took me out for lunch/dessert so while my weekend wasn't a total loss, it wasn't great either :# anyway, sounds like what you're doing is right! Keep it up, we can do this! :)

It makes it easier if you guestimate what horrible number you will see afterwards - then you can focus on a game plan to bring you back on track. You can do it!

Up a bit this week, last week I was at 208, a new low, yay! but TOM week has appeared. Probably won't go down til next week.
Was doing really good with my calories for the last 2 weeks, very proud of that, logging every day. And I picked up a bike at a yardsale a couple weeks ago, finally finished fixing it up. Took the girls for a ride up and down the street last night. First ride ever, they loved it, didn't want to go in even though we were getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. I guess I know what we will be doing every night this summer!

You are probably just retaining water. It will go away!

After a crazy past two weeks I'm back on track. Yay! I finished C25k a few weeks ago but promptly fell off the wagon with the passing of my aunt. I don't have time for any more excuses as I signed up for my first 5k in a few weeks. Eek! :)

Ugh, TOM for me too. I'm just thankful I didn't see a gain! I'm sure I'm retaining water so I feel confident I'll see movement next week and that makes me excited! :)

I mended my old (large) jeans back to the original waistline (original = that point when I said "woah - these pants are getting too tight - and had to add a section to make them fit - It was very humbling - and definitely motivated me to start losing weight).

I'm so glad they fit again. Now I need to think about the next phase. Hoping to drop a size by mid-June - and finally donate my old jeans (or trim them?)

Regardless - I have a very long road ahead. Onward...

Joining late, but I'm glad I found this group! You guys are awesome, and your progress is really inspiring!

I've been stuck at a plateau for the past few months. Gained 15 over the winter and haven't been able to get the weight back down. I'm starting up a new routine and getting back into serious meal prepping, so I'm hoping that will help!
