@2020pinktogo It's about time Crazy started walking! I hope she's not just taking time off with pay. Playboys at church...LOL

I mowed again yesterday. Rained again today. So much rain this year! But mowing is exercise so at least I'm getting some exercise in. Rain also means more fireflies. Love watching them in the evening. Takes me back to my childhood, catching fireflies and putting them in a coke bottle.

How in the world did you get them in a coke bottle we use to use mayonnaise jars the bigger the jar the better. When your mom didn't worry you were running around with a glass jar. LOL

It's funny how the thought of fireflies brings a smile to people's faces. We see it and say "Let's catch it!" A roach on the other hand, we see it and say "Kill it! Kill it now!!!"

So True also love lady bugs but dread that little ant, You should see my coworkers with spiders LOL My coworker once screamed across the intercom for Me to return to the office immediately. I got there to her and a big *kitten* spider and I took care of him. Everyone was like OMG what was wrong and she's telling them and they are like seriously? At the time it was someone who was a pain in the tuckus and I just took the monster outside and let it go under her car. It made me feel better. LOL

I don't think I'll ever be hungry enough to eat an insect.

Ok, they are food for the animals. Although I have eaten some and they aren't too bad. Wait, are works insects. That's what I ate. They are called Mopani worms and are a traditional South African thing. I would eat insects though. I would probably try anything.

I knew you were talking about food for animals. I've seen on television other cultures enjoying insects though...fried grasshoppers, chocolate-covered crickets, and yes those fat worms. I gag easily on regular food as it is. I don't even like pancakes or pizza. Trying new foods is not easy for me. My problem is that I eat a few foods but a lot of those few foods.

Me too I can't watch food programs they make me ill. I eat the same thing over and over. My coworkers know my routine they also know if they want to mess with me throw off my routine and I'm a wreck. It's also smelling food that can make me ill too. My husband will make his favorite stuff when I'm not home and air out the house.

OMG I got my hair cut it's short and I love it my hubby HATES it his exact words. In the past that would have crushed me. Today I just laughed and said too bad I love it and it's me. I think what he doesn't like is it makes me look younger as he's a lot older he's never going to like it. He wants me to be old and frumpy well I'm not and he has to deal with that. Have a great day everyone. I work long shifts straight through til thursday no holiday for this chick. LOL ;)

@2020pinktogo Congrats on your new haircut. As long as YOU love it, all is good. I'm sure your hubby will get used to it and start loving it too.

I'm feeling good again. My clothes are floating on me, very comfortable in these hot, muggy days we've had lately. My scale still disappoints me, but I'm feeling fine.

Have a memorable Memorial Day weekend.

Hi, all! I've gone back to what worked for me, the apple. :) Maybe it'll help me focus on healthy again. My nephew's graduation is this coming Saturday. Although I'm not at the goal I wanted I am going to choose a flattering outfit that will focus on the positive. What else can I do, right?

I think the positive outlook will shine through find an outfit that you love. I think that does a lot too. When I hate what I'm wearing it shows on my face. LOL Last day of May tomorrow is June and I am going to start the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. Even if I never get out of level one. ;) Have a great day everyone!!

It's been raining so much. Can't wait for clouds to go away and let sunshine come through.
