I keep trying to get in on these walk challenges and something keeps getting in the way. Sometimes work, sometimes health and sometimes just my own laziness. But I need to just DO IT. So this will be the month. I am going to for 50 miles this month. I should be able to get 2 miles a day at least. Sheesh!2

June will be an interesting month for me. I will be transitioning to retirement. I will be handing over to newbies the responsibilities I have a had for a long time. I really need to practise letting go and keep telling myself that the new people will do just fine their way!!0 -

Bad headache yesterday, but I am back on track today!!!
Lilymay CONGRATULATIONS on transitioning to retirement!!! I know how you feel about letting go. I am 3 years out and every day say, "Maybe I should stay one more year until the younger faculty know how to do all this." :laugh: Still, I cannot wait to retire and move back home to the mountains of New York. Of course, now you will have "no excuses" not to get all your miles in! :noway: Enjoy!

I am a little late in the month setting my goals; I have two part-goals this month. First, to walk 60 miles, and second to get 10,000 steps each day. So far I have walked over 10,000 steps each day and I have walked two miles with Leslie each day and 1/2 mile outside each of the last two days! I am not sure I will walk two miles each day, but I hope to get the total 60 miles in anyway.2
