I prelog my breakfast and dinners a month in advance, keeps it simple and easy.

I don't go that far as to log them that far in advance, but I eat the same thing every day for breakfast and lunch so I might as well.

I really love to cook, love variety, and I often eat things on a whim. Thankfully, I live alone and my kitchen is ONLY filled with safe foods. Don't get me wrong, I'm ok with leftovers and routines... but I like to shake things up, especially when the seasons changing means foods change with them (yes, I buy and cook mostly with seasonal ingredients). I love the farmers markets and the quality of the items is also at the peak that way. It's also cheaper.

I pre-log for big events like holidays, to give myself an idea of what I plan to eat. Then, I go back and enter in exact weights and ingredients. I don't pre-log on a daily basis, partly because it makes me feel obligated to eat what I logged, and partly because I usually don't know what I'm eating the next day until the meal rolls around. Lol

I log all of my foods when I wake up. It'll give me a little reminder about breakfast and I just do the whole day. I pretty much eat the same things everyday so it's not too hard.
