New little (well, not really too little) chick, don't know what breed she is, but she's the cutest thing. She Loves John!

The llama are curious about her, somebody new.

Ahhhhhhh, gotta love that fresh water.

The chicken really is tame. I like the one of John and the chick sitting in the chair and John staring the llama down. Thanks for sharing all these.0

Great pics, Sheryl! I wanted to swim in the pool but maybe not with the geese!

No Jannie, not for us...as soon as they hit the water, they poop.

Great pictures Sheryl. Thanks for sharing. It's so sweet how that little chick has bonded with John. Initially I had the same thought as Jannie. That pool looks so inviting. But poop would be a deal-breaker.0

I'm paying bills this morning.
Sometimes, you just want to POOP on the utility bill, I'm letting Cookie take care of that for me!

Thank you so much for the kind words about the dress. When we first heard that the wedding guests had to be in formal attire, we all gasped. But, it turned into such a fairytale affair and we all had a wonderful time and felt like princesses.
Back to reality...septic tank, HA!
After years of neglect, the weeds were growing through the cracks. I uncovered the access to the tank and finally just this week finished getting the concrete pavers back in place, no more weeds, at least for a while.

Looking good. What a big job.0

I can't decide which few photos to post, so I'll probably post quite a lot of them, maybe too many, ha ha ha
First, the old deck, very rotten and dangerous, then the demolition...that was very fun for John and I to bang out our aggressions and break up boards. We collected a big coffee can and a half of old nails.

Beautiful and done so quickly. Could you watch them doing the work without being in the way?0
-
Looks so safe and pretty. Wow, that got done quickly!0

Yes, Debora, I had the front window, door and the sliding glass door open and could watch and hear them.
We're so happy with the way it looks, but even more important, how much safer it is now. We may finally take some chairs out there and sit...and watch traffic. ha ha ha0
