    Phew! My goal actually was to maintain and I was a bit worried stepping on the scale this morning after getting home late last night after spending the week in Vegas. So honestly, I actually am thrilled with an absolute zero net loss/gain knowing that I definitely ate "off" plan throughout the week for the most part. The worst of it being was high, high, high sodium levels, some fried foods (although just a few items, but I've avoided this completely throughout my weight loss) and probably 5-6 alcoholic drinks throughout the week (which are just empty calories but again, knew this before I picked up the glass!).

    Now back on track and looking forward. NSV's for the week, and there were some GREAT ones for me! I was last in Vegas for the Super Bowl, the high stools at the gaming tables were too uncomfortable to sit for more than 10-15 minutes. Now, I was able to sit there for hours (and do well, thankfully!). Chairs with arms on them at the steakhouse at the resort we stay at was a very tight fit last time, now there was absolutely no issue at all. It was actually noticeably different. Just walking in general was amazing. I would always ask for a hotel room near the elevator because a trip to Vegas always ended up being exhausting for me and I would be so sore and have so much pain in my knees and back from walking before....now, nothing. I made excuses to even go back to the room or go back down just to get out and about. It was a wonderful week and I felt the best I have in over 10 years.

    The best NSV? Before I left for Vegas (for our 10th anniversary) ...I actually went and tried on my wedding dress and it was loose all over. I'm not sure how much I weighed when we got married but realizing that I am smaller than I was the day I got married really made my week! :)

    Going very slow this month but at least still moving in the right direction. Need to be more strict with the food so I can get better numbers. Did measure this week and found in 6 weeks I lost 6 inches in the hips and 2.5 in the waist in 6 weeks time. Actually managed to exercise at the gym all 5 days last week. Planning a repeat performance this week.

    After going back up and down and being on vacation this week I am just glad that it hasnt gone up! I have literally been eating worse than I did at the holidays! I even changed my goal on here from 2lbs/week to just 1lb so I could justify more calories :/ I promise myself and all of you who bother to read it that I will get back on track when I go back to a normal schedule (Monday).

    Hello all, I'm Lil, I have been on and off MFP for some time now. I am just coming back from a break to post a new heaviest weight... I am so upset. I know I need to do better, but I go through these times of not caring and eating whatever I want. Each time the scale moves up more but I continue to do so. It is so frustrating.

    Back on track and actually looking forward to my doctor's appointment on Tuesday. It will be my 3 month follow up and give or take a few pounds for clothing and my TOM about to hit, there should be a 40lb loss since my last visit. I was just put on blood pressure medication this past December and my last appointment he said if I continue to lose weight he believes I should be able to come off it as I was borderline to begin with. I'm hoping that will be the good news this appointment.

    Also, my husband and I have the same primary doctor and our appointments are one after the other usually. Since I finally did discuss my actual weight numbers and goals with my husband, I won't even mind him coming in with me during my appointment (he always likes me to go in with him for his). I can't really remember the last time I said I'm looking forward to going to the doctor! :D

    Lil, I know where you're coming from and I was in that spiral off and on for years. I wish I had an answer or even a suggestion for you. I don't even know what it was that flipped that switch in my own head that made me realize it was "time" but I do wish you success! I did find that logging my food on MFP and especially the MFP forums first by simply lurking/reading and then actively posting to be the real key in keeping me on track.

    Hope everyone has a great push toward the end of the month!

    I didn't do so well this week. Most likely due to the fattier meats I ate during this weekend; hamburgers, hot dogs, bacon, etc. I didn't really stick all that well to my meal plan and it shows. I also got a new, and hopefully more accurate, scale this past week, so that also may be a part of it because it looks like the new scale reads about a pound higher than the old one. I'm not so confident that I'll make my heft goal this month because that would mean I'd need to lose 4.4 lbs this week. Maybe I can if I have some water weight from all the salty food I ate this weekend, but probably not. On the flip side, at least I'm still down! I plan to drink a bunch of water and stay on track food wise this week to get back into the swing of things.

    I am seriously surprised! My eating habits over vacation last week were ridiculous! I averaged 2190 calories a day! But still I lost throughout! my body was maybe just in shock or my metabolism got boosted or something! :) but back to normal calories now and hoping the losses keep on coming! :) not sure if I will lose another 3 this week but I am super happy with my work this month :)

    Well, it's not exactly what I was hoping for but hey, it's a loss! Much better than the recent months! I saw my dietitian again yesterday and felt really good after the visit. I don't usually eat lunch but she wants me to start thinking about starting to. That's going to be a little hard for me because it has been a long while since I have eaten lunch. And snacks, she wants me to eat those too.

    Recondition my body she says...to expect those foods. Oh boy! This will be a challenge for me. Also she had me put myself on a schedule, certain times I will eat. It's my schedule so I should be able to handle it. Only time will tell! As I have already said...OH BOY! Everyone wish me luck, cause this girl will definitely need it over the next 5 weeks and beyond! Focus, focus, focus!
