Thought I would introduce myself

Hi all,
I have been following LCHF for two weeks tomorrow, so please do bear with me if I am asking silly questions as I am purely internet taught.
A little bit about myself, 2 years ago my Dr diagnosed me with most likely celiac (she took me off gluten 3 weeks before my blood test, and it still came back high) But I have refused to go back eating gluten to retake the test as it makes me really ill. I cannot face another 6 weeks plus of being constantly ill.
And here starts my slow move towards LCHF. After going gluten free I find most pasta and bread does not taste as tasty anymore. Therefore I have reduced my carb intake naturally over the past 2 years, and rice gets boring after a while, and as much as I love potatoes, I only really have had them at special occasions over the past year or so.
Lately I have decided to finally lose my extra weight, and as much as I believe in CICO I felt I was left starving all the time, so would struggle to keep on track. That was till my OH made us a lovely prawn, crayfish and avocado salad with an olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing. A salad filled me up! Revelation time! Over time I have replaced the margarine with full fat butter, out goes the 1 cal spray in comes oils, oily fish, bacon, avocado, eggs, full fat milk and the other day some cream found its way into my shopping basket. AND I am keeping to my calorie allowance and I am not hungry (nor am I stuffed btw)
So after watching a diet programme (of all things) where some of the volunteers tried out LCHF, I got curious and read up on it. Speed forward, and here I am! Still fat, but slowly shrinking, not starving and obsessing about food. Eating gluten free has suddenly become a lot easier, and so far so good.
I am still learning a lot every day about LCHF, and I am sure I will be asking some stupid questions along the way, but I do appreciate all tips and advice given, and yes I am busy reading through your many excellent threads on here.

I second this, Karlottap! Finding this group has kept me informed and motivated. Celebrating the successes and commiserating with the pitfalls does help keep me on track.2
