Hubby and baby bonding time is good. :)

Considering he quit his job as a chef to be a stay at home dad... I'd say they have plenty of daddy daughter bonding time.

Sad miles. Yesterday, no fitbit at all. Ugh. Up, peddling...I have to get back to the pool today...I am turning into a slug.

My head is in the right place during the day...all gung ho...and then after work, I flake and do not go.

Today, water is in the freezer so I have good water for pool side...bathing suit and towel and tote ready to go. Just need to come home, change and go.

May pack it all in the car and try going directly from work.

I definitely need to do something. I hate being so inactive. And my activities are limited...so I need to get with it...NOW!

Wishing u all a good Thursday.

And another beach day today, maybe, it is pouring rain here and haven't heard from the kids yet - they are about an hour west...

AND can't wait for Friday... all the company will be gone!! :)

Hope the rain lets up, Lilymay...sounds like fun!

At work, thinking only if I could go swimming NOW. Have energy. It just seems to be zapped by the time I get off work.

Googled why I have so little energy after work and how to fix that.

It does suggest a short nap to get energy back for the rest of the evening. Going to try that today.

Home by 3:45...nap and up and out the door by 4:30. That IS the plan.

    Later, mates.

Made it to the beach, then a short walk on the nature trail. Spotted some blueberries so will have to go back with a bigger container than my granddaughters' little hand. Although she ate everything we picked, so probably not many will get to the container.! :)

YEAH!!! it is Friday... all the company will be gone!! :)

    Week 3
    Steps: 56,104
    Miles: 23.11

    7/1-7/21
    Steps: 173,179 (69% of 250k goal)
Miles: 71.32 mi (71% of 100 mi goal)
    Daily step goal (6.5k): 19/21
    10k+ days: 5/10

I'm on track to meet my step and mile goals but the 10k days are going to be hard. I have 9 days including today (yesterday I didn't even get my step goal due to a sore back) to get 5 days over 10k, yikes! If I can get all my weekend days over 10k then I only have to squeeze in one during the work week. Going to TRY to get up early one day to make a yoga class and early another day to take a walk before the heat sets in. We'll see if my daughter cooperates....

My exercise is not great...I am having battle with myself daily to get stuff done.

I made a goofy little chart at work to get me to the pool more...thought if I shared it with my coworker, I would do better.

That little wiz kid I work with turned it into a work of art ... so I have been getting some exercise in each day. She set it up to log in if I get to the pool, ride the bike or use strength training chair gym.

I have to step up my game and make more of an effort.

Later, mates. Have a great Sunday.

I am moving more since I retired... but after a week of company I am afraid to step on the scale :( .... now we are off to the city for DH to have some tests, so there may not be much movement.

Hello everyone! I missed last weekend. We spent hours working at the other house and finally got in on the market! So nice to have that done...now to just get an offer that goes through and be rid of it!! :)

I've not been watching my miles very closely, but I do think I'm doing OK on most days. I've also been charging the Fitbit every other day or so, so I don't think I've had any dead days.

As of the 10, I was at 31.13
    11 - 2.29
    12 - 1.91
    13 - 2.22
    14 - 2.5
    15 - 2.5
    16 - 5.2
    17 - 5.81
    18 - 3.47
19 - .6 - maybe there was a dead day in there. Oops!
    20 - 2.58
    21 - 2.58
    22 - 2.41
    23 - 4.26
Total = 69.45 miles...Looking at some of those numbers, I'm not doing as well as I should be. Ugh to the hot weather!! We've had what is supposed to be the hottest days of the year the last couple of days (yesterday that 4+ was gotten by being at a pool party!!)

So...8 days to go and 30.55 miles to make 100. Going to have to be close to 4 miles each day.
    Better step it up. :)

    July 24 3.23 miles

Back to work Monday. Feeling much better today than last Monday. Might have something to do with better diet and more moving.

Good luck MLH with the house. May the best offer be in your future.

Later, mates. "Just Keep Swimming!" B)
