...for starting this board!

GOAD has been a vital resource for me to get to this point and I was not happy about it going away. I'm not nor do I desire to be a Facebook subscriber and the outlook of doing WW without GOAD felt like it would be a real loss, probably not the end of the world but certainly a significant change for my plan.

So thanks for taking the initiative and setting this board up. It looks like it's got almost everything we need (and then some). It's great to see so many GOADies back and wonderful that the welcome mat is encouraging folks to stop by and join.

So thanks; I appreciate what you did.

Yes - I would reiterate what Kim said. This community was a critical part of my learnings, and I'm glad to see it endure.

I'm impressed by how many have joined this group. Mostly familiar folks, but, it appears, some new folks. Perhaps we should be thanking Weight Watchers for the 'push'.

I'm joining you in expressing thanks to wwgoadie and the others who've organized it and helped it along. I've been tracking here on mfp for several months, and it's great to have a place here for support as well. Yes - WW helped push me here as I previously just lurked on the goad board.

I know - it's tough to recognize Cindy without a picture of her feet, and the water in the background.

    Hello Goadies
Thanks to Charlie on the WW site I did not know you moved.
It is great to hear from all and to be able to get that great support again. I was wondering why the site seamed to be dying.

Because WW was killing it slowly. GoaD almost impossible to find, and it was obvious they wouldn't spend and IT dollars on the boards.

Jim - I'm pretty sure under your profile there's an option to change your user name. (Ain't technology amazing?)

    Hmmm. Or did it?
Doesn't seem to have worked. On my profile page, I changed it, and it seemed to work, but here it hasn't. (yet)

It works if you haven't already used that username as some point. Apparently I used "mamacin" during one of my earlier trials of MFB. Can I remember the password for it? Of course not. Perhaps I should have them send me a new password and go back to using that name.
