Quest did make some changes a few months ago based on feedback. I love quest bars personally. I havent had stomach issues or cravings. I usually take one to work everyday and eat half for a morning snack and half for an afternoon snack. They are sweet, but thats why I atleast am eating them. I think I probably eat to much protein though so I was looking for a low carb lower protein alternative. They are expensive but I travel a lot for work and $2 for a bar is cheaper than eating lunch in the airport.2

Pouring gold flakes onto your Quest bars would be cheaper than eating lunch at an airport.4 -
I'm bumping this thread to side wind towards protein powder.
I need a non-soy powder. (Found a tumor on my breast, had a biopsy, fortunately benign, but I'm paranoid now.)
<5 net carbs, tasty, mixes with water.
I don't mind artificial sweeteners or sweet tastes. Cravings are ok for me. I know it's an expensive product, but if anyone has economical favorites, even better! ^^0 -

Look into Primal Kitchen
I bought their protein powders from Thrive Market for my son and I've had them a few times.
Mixes with water great. Sweet enough that my carb eating teenager likes them (though I mix his with milk and hwc) and have been known to add peanut butter to his chocolate shakes.
I'm not able to check carbs right now, but I'm very low and it worked for me.
It's pricey, but if quality ingredients is important to you, it's a win.0 -

Isopure Zero Carb by Nature's Way is pretty solid. Tests well on labdoor as well.
ETA: it's whey.1
