Interesting!!! This used to be something I could correlate to PMS, but now I'm actually post cycle. I've started hormone therapy a few months ago too, but hadn't noticed the bouts of constipation until now. In fact I felt so much better

I broke down and made some chia seed pudding (I cal it Colon Blow pudding LOL) and took some of that with lots of water. That was always a pretty sure fire remedy for me. I'll take some more magnesium before bed too. Fingers crossed we have movement tomorrow1

All right so for anyone that is having/has had/will have this issue, let me just say Colon Blow pudding is still magic. Pure magic. It just is. Been suffering for days....had a little pudding last night and nice, easy movement this morning. No drama, no pain, no Eeek moments :-)

1 cup unsweetened coconut milk, 1/2 cup (8 tbsp) chia seeds and some flax seeds thrown in (2 tbsp). Refrigerate and once it gets, there is your pudding. Magic colon blow pudding :-) I usually only eat a couple tbsp at a time, depending. I was concerned if it would throw me out if ketosis (if it did I still figured it was worth it) but no, i'm still good.2

@klaak - I'm so glad that works for you. Chia, no matter how soaked, how many days overnight, etc., is very constipating for me. I tend to run on the side of hydration that's closer to dehydration, and I practically have to double my water to not be in pain when I eat chia seed pudding... Just a note for some of us who don't do well with it...1 -
Wow, it's just incredible how different we all are, isn't it!!! I have heard that chia seeds irritate the intestinal lining for some too....that does NOT sound pleasant either I guess it's just a matter of experimenting and then staying away from what causes problems. Can be a frustrating exercise though, but oh well, I guess that's all we can do2
