Uneven body fat distribution

How do you deal with uneven body fat distribution?

Or what recommendations do you have.

Visually Upper half looks mid/low teens, bottom half is almost 25%, upper is bones showing almost unhealthy looking yet lower is still celulite and jiggly. Sorry best way to explain it. Bodpod has me right around 19.5%.

Not sure how to progress. I want to cut more to drop lower body but my upper keeps looking worse. Bulking won't happen mentally as took 4 years to drop 75lbs and the scale going up right now psychological not wanted.

Currently at 250cal deficit, 2 days upper body, 1 day lower body. Lift typically heaviest I can for 3 sets of 8-12.

You're a pear. You look great. I would change your lifting program though.

I think you look fantastic OP.. those abs!

I carry fat on my lower body too.. but it came to the point where I was cutting and getting nowhere, so I bulked to create a better muscle base on my lower body which really helped. I am doing it again since I lost a bit of muscle during my pregnancy.

Bulking isn't for everyone and you mentioned it is not something you would like to do, then I would say recomp. Results may be a bit slow but over time you should get closer to your goal. In the end though, a lot of it comes down to genetics and body shape.

If you want to gain more muscle on your lower body, you may have to add more than one lower body day though. I think that is what @arditarose was getting at

there is a saying, you can have a good face or a good *kitten*... so you reduce your bodyfat till your face looks good, still need to lose a bit on the lower half... lose till your bum looks good... your face look gaunt...

haha and yeah that is what I ended up at when I got down to almost 130lbs people kept commenting. I was under 17% body fat for my full body but yea the bodpod had me down under 10% the lady had never seen it come out so screwed up. My upper was so lean she couldn't only think the machine was having issues with it.

So bulked ish I did over the holidays. Got my leg press up to 500lbs 1rm haha, now to cut down a bit. Hopefully the more muscles on my lower half will help with the saggy blah look my thighs have that I dislike. I don't care so much the messurements of it vs how they look.
