Thanks Thomas. If you use a vest, do you add the weight of your vest to your normal weight in the profile of your heart rate monitor app?
I don't. I thought the reason that the HRM wanted my weight was to figure out what my heart rate should be for my body. Temporarily adding weight shouldn't effect that.
I am completely unsure however.0 -

Unfortunately something I ate started making me feel a bit nauseous so I had to call it quits early.

Burned: 649 Calories
Not posting the heart rate graph because I had to work out in spurts. I was fairly sore from my second workout the day before so it took some time to find workouts that didn't make things worse.1 -
Week 2 Check In
Weight: 212.2 lbs
Waist: 36 in.
Weekly Weight Loss: 5.8 lbs
Total Weight Loss: 7.8 lbs
% of Goal (50 lbs): 15%
Super successful week. The weight vest is obviously helping matters.1 -

I was able to get in a small workout after all but I was, and still am, completely exhausted so I stuck with something lighter and no weight vest. I worked out aside from this but the HRM was not working and I didn't know until ~15 minutes in. After some troubleshooting turns out that it wasn't tight enough anymore and I had to tightened the strap!
Not a bad problem to have when trying to lose weight, just bummed I lost on the calorie count.

Getting a workout in at the end of a long day is always a struggle. If you're anything like me though, once you're actually in VR and moving, the struggle gets easier.0

This came to no surprise. From Friday to Wednesday I had an adventurous week time planned before the challenge started. I worked out when I could but I was pleasantly surprised to see even a bit more lose.
Now things are back to normal and time to burn off more.1 -
Day 23 (Yesterday)

Weight Vest: 16 lbs.
After walking up and down SF and street fares and over an hour in a mosh pit, I apparently still needed another day of rest as I was not able to maintain. I will take another day or two of lighter workout for longer duration.

Still exhausted from the last few days so I took off the weight vest so I could do a full hour.

I unfortunately got rather ill on Saturday and took several days to recover. With that in mind, I am going to start today as Day 26 so I can continue how it should have gone.
Side note: Rather happy that laying in bed for days didn't do any harm but just put things on pause.0 -

Fan died partly through and I started sweating up a storm. Going to do some Audioshield after I cooldown for a bit but still happy with the results.

My shoulder disagrees with the weight vest. I found that I can take it off after doing 2 full rounds with each opponent and still continue with minimal pain. This discovery should help me continuing forward.
