Thank you all for your compliments. We are so pleased with the outcome. Haven't had a chance to just sit out there on the deck yet, but someday soon.

Thanks all, for the compliments, it does look good out there. We sat on it for all of 10 minutes and John was antsy and took off. I can not get him to just sit and relax. It's very comfy, but there's not much to look at except traffic on our road. We'll get out there sometime when the animals are in the front yard and that might keep John's attention better. It rained on Friday and I noticed that yesterday, there was still some rain water puddled on part of it, I'll have to wipe it down before we sit on it after a rain. I'll get a small table and another chair and make it look more inviting. I know that when we have someone over, it will be a nice place to sit.

Here are a few pictures from our day trip last Tuesday. Coming home from the museum in The Dalles, we took the old scenic highway and climbed into the hills. You can see the Interstate down by the river.

Here is the afghan I did for my friend. Her mother had done all the panels. I then put the cross stitching on it and put the panels together and then added the fringe. Learned things as I did it which I'll probably never use again but it was fun.

Thank you. It took me over a year to get done. Got to have something fun to do.
