They are in...
I have no concerns, even a little bit with Keto.
Component Your Value Standard Range
Cholesterol, Total 137 mg/dL 0 - 199 mg/dL
Triglycerides-Direct 83 mg/dL 35 - 135 mg/dL
HDL 52 mg/dL 40 - 60 mg/dL
HDL% 38 %
LDL Calculated 68 mg/dL 0 - 129 mg/dL
CHD RISK MALE/FEMALE
DANGEROUS <7 <12
HIGH 7-15 12-18
AVERAGE 15-25 18-27
BELOW AVERAGE 25-37 27-40
CHOLESTEROL(MG/DL) INTERPRETATION
<200 RECOMMENDED (DESIRABLE)
200 - 239 MODERATE RISK
>=240 HIGH RISK
Only thing out of whack was my folate for my other labs - it was 20.

Wow - amazing! My total cholesterol is 205 - I hope I can bring it down on this WOE.1

Just a reminder - LC wonks (like Steve Phinney, Jeff Volek) remind regularly that lipid profiles may not stabilize until after::
- you've been in ketosis for a while AND
- you've transitioned from weight loss to maintenance mode.
And finally, of course, there's the question of what to do about it, wherever your individual profile happens to stabilize....

Stop harshing my buzz @RalfLott !
Well the thing is I've always had great numbers - even when I was 363 lbs...I was worried I'd see a spike eating all the extra fat (damn nurse in me) and I didn't so I'm pleased.3 -

I think the intent of the caution was to urge folks not to worry about lipid profiles that seem alarming, rather than to disregard those that don't.

Yay! More evidence we've been misled all these years. Keto on!2

That's for *kitten* certain!
Among the other variables I neglected to note - there ain't no standards for folks in nutritional/therapeutic ketosis for the standard lab tests.
For instance.....
I got packed off recently for a hydrogen breath test for SIBO, due to designer Chronic Really-Unanticipated Diarrhea syndrome (CRUD)*, which began with a 50g jolt of glucose on an empty, fasting tummy. Yowza!
I brought my glucose meter along and tested every few minutes. Not surprsingly, as a T2D my blood glucose surged to over 300 within an hour...
A few weeks later, I heard Dr. Westman lament the failure of most docs to take a ketogenic/LCHF diet into account when interpreting lab tests, especially OGTTs.
Yep, take with grain [glass] of salt [water].

* Before switching at Dr. Bernsteins' recommendation from generic Metformin to name-brand Glucophage, which pretty much ended the reign of CRUD.2 -

Do some reading because 205 may be a good number. In my case <200 and >240 starts to reduce my life expectancy on average. I was 257 I think on my last lab and mentioned to the doctor I will work that down over the coming year. She said 257 was not a concern because now they do not even consider meds until the cholesterol level hits 290.3 -
I don't know what any of this means, but apparently it's good. Hooray for better health!!!! High Five!!1
