Had a great day yesterday even though it turns out none of us wanted to go out but we had a great day. I found knee socks and I found long johns not in my size but I came home and ordered them online. I did well with food as I really don't like to eat out3 -
I'm back. I know I'm out of the winners circle, but I want to continue this month's journey for my own accountability. I've been sick with a cold. I still have the cold but want to get back on track. I've been managing to get some exercise in every day consisting of about 30-minutes of walking, with the exception of yesterday when I raked leaves for 2 hours. Unfortunately, when I'm sick, I just want comfort food. Today I pre-logged my meals and am planning to stick to my log. Will update later.6

I am shuttling between a high school cross country meet and two comp soccer games, in three different cities, which are all different than my own. So, I am happy to say that I planned everything out. I brought a cooler with water, a salad, a protein shake and Greek yogurt. I should be set with no reasons to buy food out! Oldest will want to stop at Jamba prior to soccer, which is fine because I don't like fruit smoothies. Got my walking clothes on and a change of clothes in anticipation of plenty of sweat (Won't run because I would be soaked through with sweat including my hair, and nobody else needs to be subjected to that as the day goes on. Seriously! That is just he way it is. Lol. But I digress).3 -

But I have already struck out for November so I am somewhat lacksydaisicle.
I went for a bike ride this morning but I didn't feel like getting up early or going anywhere so I just rode around the block a few times. So this is like an hour and 1,300 feet climbing 8.7 miles maybe 500 calories. I am disappointed in the calories but I am abiding by it.
Some neighborhood people were cheering at me, hollering awesome from their yards and car windows. I try not to let it go to my head.
But yeah, going around the block can almost be HIIT. You know High Intensity Intervals. So I put an image of my heart rate profile. So that is what it looks like for going around the block, 19 times.
Tomorrow is supposed to be 38 degrees at daybreak so I am going mountain climbing for two or three hours.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 35 minutes on Elliptical machine, 30 minutes on Concept 2 rowing machine, 45 minutes walking on treadmill, and 90 minutes strength training.

I could not keep up with you on your most lackidaisical day, much less when you are feeling peppy!

Had to use my first PASS today. Mostly because I didn't sleep well and I am sore from yesterday's workout. That and I just wanted to drink beer tonight.2

NOVEMBER 12
Exercise: Yes - hotel gym, weights and treadmill and hours and hours walking around Chicago's Field Museum and Lincoln Park, where we had a spectacular dinner at North Pond, an old prairie style ice skating warming hut turned restaurant.
Tracking: Yes - I took pictures of all my meals to aid in my recall for tracking (WW trick).
Calories: Yes - No deficit for my weekend trip. I'm on maintenance.2 -

Pass day #1 - no exercise today. Didn't fit in exercise today, but I was up and about and I also did some chores, so not so bad. But still, not really exercise as far as I'm concerned.0
