Yesterday, we hiked among the spectacular red rocks of Sedona, AZ. Rose, me, and our son Ethan are in the second photo above.
Have a great day!2 -
They are calling for it to get cold and for us to get more snow here. So I went out and bought more long johns. I wear these nice clothes and under them I have on long johns it's so cold at work. As fleece and heavy woolens are frowned upon I think fine I just wear lots of layers. More than likely if they saw me outside of work they would be like wow she looks a lot thinner. LOL
Today was move the furniture and clean day. I have a ton of calories left to eat so I should be set for all three today as I have no appetite but I'll make sure I eat enough.
I know next week is still the last week of november but kind of the first week of dec so I am breaking out my Xmas attire. I just love the holidays I'm not a big present person I just like how some people just are nicer and it's one time a year you get together. You always think you should but somehow it never happens without a holiday. I try to see my parents once a week But I'm lucky to see my daughter a few times a year. So I love the holidays. Have a great night everyone.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yep - 45 minute Step It Up class, 60 minute Pump and Sculpt Challenge class, 60 minutes walking on treadmill, and 90 minutes strength training.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yep
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep3 -
@fearlessinmy3rdact - You rock! Thats 4+ hours of serious exercise. Talk about a turkey burner!
@2020pinktogo - Wait until spring when you've shed a few pounds and shed those long johns. Your work people will think, "who is this new girl?"
As for me, we spent the day at my wonderful mother-in-law's for our third Thanksgiving, but I held it together. Kids and food everywhere!

I am so far out of the game I should just pipe down until the next challenge.
Mr. Knee says he doesn't want to go skiing any more. So much for raging against aging.
Sedona, that place is beauty. Seems like I have been there before but I can't put my finger on it. Must be more than 20 years ago.
Cheers.

Hello! I'm so happy to see so many of you doing well and staying or getting right back on track after the holiday. I may not be one of you, but I am striving to be. Got lots of good exercise sledding and skiing. Found that my ankle was really not healed enough for skiing to be fully safe for me. So, ai did call it a day early and will have to take a break on skiing for a while. I'm actually ok with that.... just the oldest son who will always be asking to go. Thankfully, my husband loves to go. Here is a pick of my oldest son and me at Squaw Valley yesterday.

@RangerRickL what a happy family! I'm enjoying learning about life over the side of the ocean! Here in the UK some people have second homes in Spain when they've retired for winter for the same reasons.
@2020pinktogo I agree with @fitqueenbess ! Without the layers, spring will be like a big reveal of your amazing progress!
@fearlessinmy3rdact and @MiamiSeoul just wow! Do you ache after all of that? You must have slept well!
@fitqueenbess wow what amazing willpower to stay under your calorie goal with all the temptations ! Sounds like a fun day.
@bocasbelbob no way to piping down. We love your stories. And photos. Thank you!
@phoebelayla amazing photo! Sorry you had to stop but looks like you managed to enjoy some first and took a brave decision to know your limits.
As for me, exercise was just walking and housework.
Calories ha well that's where mfp seems to be on my side a bit too much. I'm pretty sure I went over but as I was buying from the market stalls I wasn't in control of weighing and measuring it. That would have looked a bit weird if I'd taken a weighing scale haha! I used the generic options for things from mfp and gave myself bigger portion sizes to be safe but can you really have penne arabiata for lunch, a veggie dosa for dinner and finish it with a nutella and banana pancake and come under calorie goal?! I tracked it all and while I could have avoided the market (well not really as its on my doorstep) or not had any I decided it's only the Christmas market day once a year in my town and I won't be visiting any others. The lights look amazing too so I'm feeling festive!1 -

Loving all the pictures. I like the look of snow but I prefer the warmer temps. Guess that's why I like Texas, lol.
