Hi - keen to make friends and get/give support on here. This is my second session with MFP; I was on here a couple of years back. I' currently one week into 30 days without alcohol, as part of a big plan to get down from 90 kg to 65 kg and kick my diabetes into remission. By the way I have a dog and a fella.0

five things about me: contemplating a master's degree in fashion communication at central saint martins / fairly obsessive-compulsive (and probably a touch autistic) / engaged to a saint of a human being / stress relief = our incredibly fat frenchie snoring on my chest, weird documentary on the tv / my handwriting is f&*#ing perfect (thanks, $250k worth of architecture school!)0 -

Hey, guys,
Not my first time here on mfp. Been a while since I've been active, but back again and serious.
Having active buddies for motivation/support is key.
Feel free to add me.0 -
New page here: so add me if you want to! Enjoy.0

Hey there - feel free to add me. I was in the Bears, Cubs and All Things Fuzzy group but it shut down. I just opened a group with the same name - maybe this is easier here but i'll leave the other group open and see what happens as well.0

Hey

Hi all, Jeff here from New York City. I've turned into something I never imagined I would be.... a gym rat. Lost 50ish pound so far, with another 40 to go. I go to Mark Fisher Fitness here in NYC... Their tag line is "Serious fitness, ridiculous humans" The gym is called a clubhouse, and the patrons are called Ninjas... There is also the "dragon Lair" where the weight training is done... lots of neon wall paint, and unicorns... sounds stupid, but I have never met such a group of loving, warm fellow Ninjas, and staff. They always greet me with a smile. Not trying to sell them to you, but trying to explain how myself as a gym hating, frustrated, guy... found a space where I feel as if I fit in... They changed my life.... another Ninja 24 year old guy just had a tummy tuck yesterday, he lost 175lbs over the course of 2 years. Anyway just wanted to share, that they are part of my life now.... and I love them... I walk in there and they make me smile, and I leave with a smile... can't ask for much more....
Love yourself & be kind to your body.

Aha, this looks like my bus! Guess I'll jump on
Edit: I'm semi-horrible at introducing myself. Anyway, I'm a dancer and aerialist, I'm married to man with the patience of a saint.
By ballet standards, I could stand to lose ~10 pounds, but really I'm here mostly to keep on top of my eating habits so my immune system doesn't just roll over and give up due to my training schedule.0 -
Feel free to add me. I like the motivation of seeing other people do well.1
