Well we all did pretty darn good on the 2 nd here is hoping for another productive day.5

Yeah, I did ok two days in a row. I gained 3 lbs over feasting. See how long I can stick to the plan this month. I got me one of them fitness tracker watches. I am kind of Pavlovian about that thing. If I put it on I know I am going to go outside or do something. Debating between noon spin or hill repeats outside. Hill repeats is a little harder on my knee. Bite the bullet and spin for ten bucks.6

Hope you enjoyed your spin @bocasdelbob !
Exercise: Pilates DVD again. I'm trying to strengthen up by back which has been bad before getting back to proper cardio again as last time I tried it threw me backwards as wasn't strong enough. Oh and some walking.
Tracking: everything.
Calories: yes but only 5 spare. Got my appetite back! Was a training day at work and unlike our leader @RangerRickL who set a fine example taking his own lunch in to a similar sounding event at work last month I didn't and blew most my calories for the day.

Exercise: 40 Minutes shoveling roof

I knew I would use "pass" day on the 2 and 3 because I have no internet time to track since I'm at the cabin but the rest of the month count on me !!
Hope you guys are doing great!3 -
JAN 3 - Rick, you've been in my thoughts today.
I lunched at Pollo Tropical with the girls, another chain attempting to promote healthy fast food. A skinless chicken breast, small black beans and half brown rice and no sauce is a calorie & sodium disaster, a high blood pressure cooker. Thank goodness I didn't order the salads as they are worse. It's so hard to eat out!
Exercise - yes, 6:27 am lap swim for 33 minutes - totally lost count of the meters.
Tracking - yes
Calories - yes, just, with no thanks to Pollo Tropical!
BTW @bocasdelbob and anyone else - FYI -some of the health insurance plans & medicare supplement plans give discounts to gyms, but you have to ask. Blue Cross insurance has a deal called FitnessBlue which gives access to Ys and gyms all across the country (24 hr Fitness, Golds, etc.) for $30/month. You could spin every day!6 -
Spinning, spinning spinning...
Keep them doggies spinning...
Exercise: I got like 700 cals of spin and 150 cals of walking with my wife.
Calories: I got like 700 cals surplus and I am not hungry. I even had a brownie.

Exercise? Yes. Our gym moved to a new location and new class times. It isn't ideal BC it is further from my house and daycare. On top of that the new class times make it impossible for me and my husband to workout together now.
Calories/Tracked? Yes, and stayed under thanks to exercise
I have a NSV to report! I set a new PR for deadlift max. I lifted 195 lbs tonite!5 -

Yea @Shutterbuggg ! You are really strong! 195 pounds. I can't even imagine how heavy that is. You get the "strong is the new skinny" award today.
Bummer about your gym. I have a similar problem. My office is moving away from my gym. Not good. It won't happen till summer.2 -
Glad to hear some positive news about your mom @RangerRickL. I hope that continues and hope you are caring for yourself as well. Thinking of you and your family.
195 lbs deadlift @Shutterbuggg!! Woot Woot! You are FIERCE!
I totally agree with you @fitqueenbess, it is very challenging to eat out. So called "healthy" options often really are not. As a female who can only eat 1200 cal or so a day when trying to lose weight, there is not really any wiggle room for eating out. Sure, I have a few options around... but most of the time it is better for me to avoid the temptations. That being said, I forgot my lunch today (which I haven't done for years... it was quite a morning, but I digress!) and had to eat at the hospital cafeteria. I am happy to say that I made a good choice- made a salad with tofu- and stayed in my calorie range.
Exercise: yes, walked 75 minutes

... oh, and my "bluebird of happiness" is the hummingbird that feeds at the feeder outside my kitchen. Looks like Hummy is not migrating this year so will keep feeding him. Would attach a pic but none of them ever turn out! The little bugger is too fast, but he will hover and get right in my face any time I take down his feeder to change out the food. He knows what is important and burns it all off. LOL.2
