    Hang in there, Rick. I love knowing there are still places like that where everyone knows everyone. Too often I feel we are too disconnected from each other. And yet I'm grateful that we have a place like this here on MFP where people from far and wide can come together as community and support each other. What a beautiful thing, really.

    Speaking of parents, today would have been my father' birthday. He died 4 years ago at 70 years old. Rough day today for my mom.
