What Is your plan for Super Bowl Sunday

Can anyone imagine that the ww meeting before T-Day, Haloween, Xmas , 4th of July etc. would not be about your plan for the that day.
Well I just got back from my ww meeting and for the 9th time in my 10 years at ww they did not even mention the super bowl! Makes me crazy, but I guess that's why I follow goad every day.
So any way how is every one going to handle the 2nd biggest food consumption day of the year? Whats your plan?
I expect to have all of my weekly points to spare, and in addition by game time I plan to have only consumed 5 - 8 of my daily points focusing on all of the free fruits & veggies and some low point meals, PB2, Egg Beater omlettes etc.
In addition since the party is at my house I plan to actually serve a meal (healthy one) prior to kick off so I can be fairly full / satisfied and be slightly less tempted by the munchies I expect other people to bring. I cannot prevent the stuff from showing up, but hopefully I can make it slightly less tempting by being satisfied before kick off)

There's a football game this Sunday?
*ducks and runs*
I'll be up in Wisconsin doing a 10K snowshoe race then probably more hiking on the Ice Age Trail. I'm sure to be sound asleep long before halftime.3 -
I'm thinking about making goulash to celebrate Bill Belichick's Croatian heritage.1

First of all GO FALCONS! RISE UP! Haven't gotten into planning just yet. No party here. Tenative plans at this point have a light supper, then some veggie snacks w/ ff sourcream onion dip, air popcorn plain then maybe some 13 tostito scoops with salsa dip. No alcohol consumed so that won't be a problem. Maybe finish up with some diet Miss Swiss Hot Chocolate. All this is subject to change at this point.1

I burst out laughing, this is exactly what I was thinking!1 -
Going to my youngest's house, so not sure of the eating plan. I'll bring a few Sam's for my enjoyment, as the rest are cocktail/highball guys.0

Watch the commercials and do wash0

I'll be watching on the big screen poolside on a ship in the Caribbean. We plan to skip dinner in the dining room, so frees up some calories. My only fear is if they do good appetizers. I love them! Really hoping it's a popcorn, burgers and dogs kinda event. That I can manag. Fingers crossed!0

We've been out of town a lot lately and currently have no plans for the game though that will probably change last minute. I usually make a big pot of chili and freeze some for later. (Silver Palate Chili for a Crowd - - so yummy!) If we go somewhere, I'll take a veggie tray or homemade meatballs. If I eat good protein, I'm less likely to non-stop snack.0

I'm going fishing. If successful, grilled fish and roasted veggies. If not successful, grilled chicken and roasted veggies.2

May eat some cheese in honor of the Packers and all other Cheeseheads!
Go Pack Go!0 -
Boycotting the NFL all season long so is no big deal (two good team )I like them both even though I don't like the Patriot but I'm rooting for them for my son in law.1

@GennaroC2 I'm curious (nosey?) why the boycott?

Don't throw me out of the club but football bores the hell out of me! It takes too long to get through a game. I remember as a kid, I was amazed how much time my brother would spend in front of the TV watching it. I haven't gotten past that part. I'd rather be outside exploring / photographing. Good day to be out while so many others are in...2

I will watch the game. But only to keep my string going (I have seen every Super Bowl except 1977, when I was in basic training at Fort Sill). Only parties I have had for the "Big Game" have been in years when the Seahawks were playing. No food challenges this year, at all.0

Skipping it. I gave up on the NFL this year. I just keep current on the Niners debacle0

I'll be watching (probably at home) and pulling for the FALCONS!! No clue what the food fare will be.0
-
I have zero interest in either team. So, quite frankly, I may do something else, which will not involve food.0

well for me its not about the football its about having an excuse to have a party with some friends1

No plans, we'll drop in and out of watching the game but it's not high on our interest list. No longer an NFL fan...sadly...just not the same anymore, IMHO0

For all you non football fans there are the New commercials and Lady Gaga halftime show. Or Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet!

Mostly skipping the party next door. Will drop off some homemade handmade guacamole because the hostess loves it. Will watch bits and pieces and root for Falcons . Busy day Monday to prepare for.0
