Hiya everyone I am new to this group. I am still breastfeeding my 2 year old about 3 times a day and I have read I should make my carb allowance 50g a day. Does that sound about right? Thanks. Any advice is appreciated. I am currently doing lchf

I have nothing to add to the great info given already but thought I'd share this article sharing the amazing benefits that you're continuing to provide your child. Not that you don't clearly already know.
Best of luck on your low carb journey!

When I was breastfeeding, I found that high fat, hydration, and adequate calories was the key. Why I dieted traditionally, my fat content was too low and my doc made me start eating ribeye. I was anemic too. The addition of high fats made my milk come in strong and full. Baby's weight responded well. Make sure you get your sodium too. Don't dehydrate!
