Valentine's Week!! Just enjoy yourself, treat yourself, just don't go overboard. Instead of a bunch of candy, hint for a plant, flowers, a mani/pedi . Best of luck to everyone and I hope you all did well last week!

    Week 6 Weigh in and I'm down 16 pounds !!! The turning point for me was committing to my exercise routine. Monday/Wednesday/Friday Boot Camp. And a 20 minute cardio walk on my treadmill in the morning on Tuesday and Thursday. I don't often make the Friday Boot Camp at the end of the long week so I trade it for a session at the gym on Saturday morning. This is not easy but is temporary until I get to my goal weight and then I can just do fun stuff to maintain., Like ride my bike or go kayaking, swimming or hiking. Summer activities that I've been missing out on due to my weight.
    PS - another Valentine's tip? Try a nice lateral work instead of the chocolate LOL

    Hello All!

    Had a good week. As much as I love chocolate, Valentine's Day wasn't a big issue for me. The hubby and I don't really celebrate since we feel it should be everyday and have our own traditions about that such as going for coffee/tea every Saturday at the Tim Horton's we met at.

    Stay the course, look back on your food logs, are you drinking the water? Many things contribute to weight gain or not having a loss, medical issues, medication, emotional things, stress ect. Feel free to message me if you want to talk and try to figure out some things you might try.

    @kayjosh2422, for some reason all of what I wrote didn't post, but that's okay. It has been a balancing act because I'm trying to quit smoking on top of the weight loss right now. I really faltered the week before with eating to comp for the not smoking. I think I have it going in the right direction and evened out now with both (I hope). Thank you! And I may take you up on that messaging sometime. :smile:
