Diet sodas?

I'm newer to the LCHF plan and am a struggling soda-holic. While I am in love with Propel Zero flavors waters, frequently I still crave a soda. I've discovered that I do like siet sodas, but am wondering if, even though they have no sugar and no carbs, can the artificial sweeteners mess up ketosis?

No effect. I am pretty sure that if you cut me during keto runs, I'll bleed Diet Sunkist, Diet Code Red and Coke Zero.4

Good to know. Diet Sunkist is also my drug of choice.0 -
I consumed a whole lot of diet soda for years while gaining weight and I have been drinking a whole lot of diet soda while losing weight - both using simple CICO and low carb / CICO combo. It hasn't seemed to make a difference for me.
My preference is Diet Dr. Pepper Cherry, but I also like Diet Pepsi Cherry, Diet Pepsi, and sometimes I enjoy Diet Sunkist or Diet A&W (both root beer and cream soda).1 -
Like the above post, I'll bleed diet dew if I'm stabbed and I have gained and lost. It is personal though. Keep that in the forefront of your mind while you introduce them and see how they affect you personally!1

I've gotten kind of addicted to the LaCroix flavored carbonated water as I am sensitive to a lot of the artificial and lower calorie natural sweeteners.
They are definitely not sweet, but I enjoy the carbonation and the longer I drink them I think the less I notice them not being sweet.
I do notice a difference between chilled and not chilled....1
