Thanks for posting this! There are a lot of misconceptions about ketogenic diets, and this is a good start to help dispel some of them.

Wonderful! I've been in keto for a little over a week and my energy levels are through the roof. I feel better than I have in years.

Sounds like you don't have metabolic damage. You must be young. That is awesome.

I'm 28, and have a 66 lb weight loss goal. I dropped 10 lbs in water weight the first week.

Have you experienced the Keto flu? The reason why I ask these questions is because the Ketogenic Diet is strict and requires a lot of trail and error. Every body reacts differently. We all want rapid results but some times the body says no.We have been eating carbohydrates since we were in our mother's womb.

I had one day where I felt a little off. Fuzzy, irritable, lethargic. I had some broth and it cleared up, and I've been careful with my electrolytes since. I take a multivitamin in the morning, magnesium at night, and drink a bottle of water with 1/4 t salt, 1/4 t salt substitute (potassium), and a tablespoon of lime juice, in addition to the 100+ ounces of water I drink otherwise.

Sounds like you have done your research. I wish you nothing but the best on your Keto health journey.

Thank you! :) I have done a lot of reading and planning and so far I like what keto has done for me. It's easy to make the right food choices, and I know myself well enough to be able to tell when I might need to supplement something.
