I got my leggings and got my first measurements

So they don't go as high on my torso as I would like, but it's a good starting point.

They are marketed as helping you find the perfect jeans based on your measurements. For me that's not my primary focus- it's to get the measurements and track the changes. Also my "waist" is larger than my hips so in reality I wear skirts mostly anyway.
I've tried using a tape- but I honestly suck at getting it in the same place each time so I hoped this would help me. My shape I feel is changing even tough I'm not seeing huge losses on the scale.6 -

Oh my gosh, me too! My scale says I've steadily lost weight over the past month but I'm not seeing that reflected in my measurements compared to what I recorded 4 weeks ago. And yet I'm fitting better into my smaller clothes, so must be my poor measuring technique.

Sounds like a useful tool if you are within a certain height range. From the looks of the thing, the "high waist" measurement on me would be very tiny indeed because it would actually be my neck.1

I decided to bite the bullet and got a pair for myself given that they're running a great sale right now or maybe that's due to the whole Memorial Day Week-end thing. Whatever the case, I'm looking forward to adding another tool to the arsenal re accurate body measurements. I'm all thumbs with a measuring tape too especially around belly and hips area, though not so much around the legs and arms (go figure)!
