Hi All,
I recently bought an Instant Pot and found it very useful for preparing healthy meals. Would anyone be interested in sharing recipes using the Instant Pot?

Thanks! Here's an instant pot steel cut oats recipe made in the instant pot- 6 servings!
2 cups steel cut oats
6 cups water
1/2 cup raisins or other dried fruit
2 apples, diced
Put all ingredients in Instant Pot
Close valve and set for 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes, 10 minutes on natural release, then quick release remaining pressure.
Sprinkle some cinnamon on top ( to taste)
Stir and enjoy!
I sometimes add some frozen berries to the mix.

This looks **amazing**!! I had never heard of an instant pot before stumbling on this thread but wow, seems like something to consider - I love my crock pot and for me, it's all about eating healthful food while working an extremely busy schedule. Found this recipe, also looks great and I love how quickly these recipes cook!

I make carrot cake oats in mine.
2 cups steel cut oats
4 cups water
2 cups almond milk
2 shredded carrots
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut
1-2 tbs apple pie spice
4 -6 chopped dates (depending on how sweet you like things)
1 tbs molasses
spray the pot with cooking oil and then put it on for 8 minutes (chewy) or 10 minutes (creamy) with a natural release.
The cooking oil prevents foam and sticking.0 -
I also like to make baked potatoes.
Use a steamer rack. Place potatoes either cut in half or whole depending on how many you can cram into the pot.
1 cup water
10 minutes with natural release.
Once done you can eat them as so or put them into the oven at 400 for about 10 minutes to crisp up the potato skin.0 -
