In the new comment box choose the picture icon (looks like a box with a mountain in it) then you can upload a picture from your files. I'm on my kindle so I can't take a screenshot to show you. Maybe someone else has that ability.1

Hmm I don't have that. Maybe I have to use a computer?? Thanks anyways!0
-
Maybe you are right - I am doing it from my Kindle or a computer.

You are looking absolutely fabulous, Sammy! Great job!0

I had to go clear back to 2015 to find a before picture, but that's pretty much what I looked like back in January 2017 too, so its good enough for a comparison picture.
I've lost right at 75 lbs8 -
Awesome job bmeadows, thanks for sharing! Congrats on reaching that 300lb goal! 75lbs is wonderful. Happy to be on this journey with you.0

I don't have actual measurements from November, when the photo on the right was taken, but I think it was around 250 or so. The left photo (sorry they're backwards) is from today, at 214.

I guess sometimes it's hard to see the difference day-to-day...
These are my two most recent production headshots. January 2016 to August 2017.
92 pounds difference (at least) here....

@Nerdbear88 that is an amazing transformation.0

Here's me at 300+ and then down about 65 lbs in the after photos. I went up over the holidays but am back to this weight again now after a really super fantastic first week back on the wagon.

Great job! I was just wondering - how tall are you? I would have never guessed you were 300+ in the earlier pics!

@bmeadows380 - thanks, that's my "healthy German peasant stock-ness." I'm just sorta solid all over - I'm also 5'11" My saving grace in all of this is my height. I'm 235 right now.0
-
I figured you had to be tall You sound a lot like me. I had one of those DNA tests done, and I'm 48% English and the rest is either German or northern European. I'm 5 ft 8 myself and am built very stockily myself, just like my brother. One the one hand, we both never looked like we weighed what we did but on the other hand, when we lose weight, we had to lose a lot before it finally started being noticeable!0
-
I did a DNA test too - I'm sort of the inverse of you. about 50% German/Polish 25% British and the rest a mix of other European areas (Russian, Scandinavian, etc)
I had to lose 40 lbs before anyone said anything. But I also think they didn't want to be wrong and embarrass us both!0
