Taking pass#2 today
Exercise: 45 minutes exercise bike this evening
Tracking: best estimates of the food from the conference
Calories: my diary for today shows under by 4 calories however the amount of estimation required means that I don't have enough confidence in this number so am using a pass. On the positive side, once I had decided to use the pass today I didn't eat anything else even with the temptation to use the pass day to it's full extent. The chips and chocolate in the pantry were calling me....8 -

Exercised?: Yes. Walked 3km in 24 minutes (City).
Calories?: Yes.
Tracked?: Yes.
Work needed me in the city today (often work from home). Really derailed my exercise plans. So improvised by taking the long way to the station after work.

I feel that I have recovered from my exercise overload of last Saturday. This morning, I did 34 minutes of cardio, push-up series; and pull-downs. That was after 20 minutes of active isolated stretching. I love that part.
Have a great day.6 -
@RangerRickL Stretching feels so good! I am taking the time to do this on a more regular basis. Babysitting all 3 of my grandchildren this morning from 7:30 AM-12:30PM. That will be a workout.☺️

@aeshippers. Awesome that you are not just going to give into temptation even though passing.
I would love to see you hit your goal weight in the next couple of days. You seemed to be SOOO close.

@craigo3154 and everybody else, I actually came on this morning to announce that I have hit my goal weight, in fact have come in 0.5kg below which is fine as I'd set my goal weight to be the top of my 2kg maintenance range.
My plan from here is to slowly increase my calories with the intention of slowing my weight loss until it stops (hopefully inside my target range). Tips from anybody here greatly appreciated.
I think one of the hardest things for me is going to be the mental shift, I have been wanting to lose weight for the past 30 years so the idea that I don't is going to take some getting used to. Wish me luck.8 -
@aeshippers well done hitting your target and very good luck with your maintenance
I can't wait till I am posing this alsobut it will be quite a while away as I have lots to lose yet

@aeshippers congratulations on hitting goal. Oh how I can't wait for that day!
Yes x 3 for me. On a roll!3 -
The last two days I've completely fallen off the wagon, rolled down a hill, and landed in a muddy ditch. So I will not be joining the winners this month, but I am going to continue tracking and working to hit the daily goals anyway. I look forward to joining the winner's circle in July!6

Since I have cut gluten full foods, it's amazing how easy it is to stay under my calorie limit.
Tracking and exercise were definitely ok today.6 -

@lightningbolt9. It's not how many times we fall, it's refusing to stay down that's important.
Do not try make up for any lost ground. Forgive your past and just set the path for the future.
Merely continue to try do the basics (tracking, stay in budget, 20 mins exercise - as you are doing - nothing more).
Too often I have seen people try "I'll do double the exercise today, as I was slack yesterday" or "My target is 200 cal lower today, as I was 200 cal over yesterday". *NO*. This is wrong way to go about it. This makes yesterday becomes a chain, holding you back, making today harder than it needs to be (and making you more likely to say "screw it" and just finish the leftover cookies in the jar).
Today's targets should not hinge on yesterday. This is why I say "Forgive you past". It makes moving forward so much easier (no dead weight to drag around).
"Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, but Today is a gift. That is why it is called the present." -- Master Oogway (Kung Fu Panda)
It's the old "one day at a time", or "one game at a time" principal.
Look forward to seeing you in the circle in July.

Thanks for this @craigo3154. So true!0 -
My diary says I made it under calories but I was estimating so much, and I don't know if it it is accurate. I don't feel like I was in the best choice mode at dinner, so I think I had better take this day as a pass day number 2. Need to keep it together.3
