You have a great loss average going on - keep up the good work. I was shooting for 2lbs a week, but it hasn't been happening lately.

I disagreed with someone about my use of walking as my primary means of weight loss. However, as a short woman, my current TDEE is rather low (under 1600 calories a day). I can't even lose a pound a week from cutting my diet down to 1200 calories a day so I walk. I walk a lot! Once I reach my goal weight, my TDEE will only be 1300 calories, which sucks but does explain why I gained so much weight over the years.0

Hmmm. I think whatever works for you - you should do. I hate to walk! In fact I hate any exercise and that explains why i gained so much over the years!!! I am at 1200 calories a day and even with that, if I don't manager my macros - the weight won't come off. I have just started introducing low impact workouts to my daily (or sorta daily) routine.0 -

It would be great to lose another 12.2 lbs in the next six weeks for the end of the challenge. That would take my BMI down to 24.9- no longer overweight! We'll see, I expect my weight loss to slow as the more I lose, the less calories I burn by walking and I don't think I can spend any more time on the treadmill than I do now to make up for it!0 -

I will be away from MFP for a while. I am bringing my 93 yr old mother home from the hospital tomorrow. She is now in God's hands and will be under Hospice care. If you are so inclined, your prayers for a peaceful passing would be appreciated. All bets are off during this time as far as my diet is concerned - I am definitely a stress eater!!!0
