Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

However you feel led...prayer; encouraging thoughts; positive mental attitude...lift up our dear friend @Gus130 as she works through chemotherapy and moves toward better health.

Back on track today thanks to the UAC, old me would probably have felt that I deserved extra "treats" today and not tracked.
I started the day still really grumpy from last week at work but have relaxed over the day. The weather coming right today probably helped too.
Exercise: Got out on my bike for over an hour this afternoon and also did some gardening.
Tracking and calories okay.8 -

Exercised?: Yes. Walked 11 Km in 99 mins (hills).
Calories?: Yes.
Tracked?: Yes.
Great walk today. 350m elevation gain in the middle
My weight has gone up 1.1kg since the food poisoning ended. Ready for it to go back down again now
@aeshippers. Glad you are back on track. I think you see now why some say maintenance is harder than losing. I find exercise helps put the brain back on track.
@Gus130. My thoughts and hopes are with you. Look forward to seeing you in August.
@ColwellCat. Concussions are nasty. Please take care and look after yourself properly.

Not my finest day, but it was slotted in to be a pass day from the beginning, and so it was. We are spending a weekend in the Hunter Valley winery region, for an annual family catchup. Wine tastings, fancy cheese & desserts - there was no way I was keeping to my calories today. But I logged it all nonetheless, albeit not as precisely add usual.
PASS.4 -
@ColwellCat Enjoy your weekend but try moderation as best as you can. Take care of that concussion!
@Gus130 Thank-you for letting us know how things are going with you. It's time to just focus on one thing; kicking cancer to the curb. Thinking of you and sending you best wishes to stay strong.2 -

Did my 5K run today, really good fun. Already signed up for the next one, lol.
Also had a steady 2 hour walk with the dogs this afternoon.
All tracked and within my daily budget.9 -
Exercise - lots. Had great fun with my kids at the local swimming pool -slides, waves, rapid river etc etc
However, I didn't log and am fairly sure I was over calorie allowance so I guess that's me eliminated for July as I've already used my 3 pass days.
I knew it would be difficult to stick to while on holiday but I've really enjoyed being part of this group and will join again in August - and hopefully do better.Hope you're all doing well!

you are allowed 3 pass days @shonat11 on pass 4 you would not be in the winners circle .. but you could stay on and try make the month with as few passes as possible .. I had (i think) 5 passes last month5 -
3 yesses for me .. I made it till the 15th last month, so this is the difficult half of the month lol
exercise 10 miles on the stat bike, took just over 30 mins ... I was tired and sore from yesterdays challenge .. my abs are burning now from a major number of crunches leg lifts planks etc etc ... but still managed to push through to hit my 10 mile aim for today

3 yeses and I am so relieved. I have to keep up momentum somehow. It's far too easy to get distracted with changing schedules over the weekend and lose track of exercising, etc.
Exercise-Well over an hour of leisurely walking while out shopping with the family. Tracking and caloric intake par for the course. Whoop whoop!6 -
July 15th
Exercise: walked with the dog for 25 min and 40 min yoga
Calories: Yes
Tracked: Yes
30 day yoga challenge: 15 days done
Miles: 1.2 A measley mile .2 today. Light running week cuz there was always something to do after work. Back to it tomorrow the dog is getting perturbed!
Lesson Learned: When the guy you work with buys a loaf of homemade zucchini bread at the local farmer's market and gives it to you..... well....you plan in your head how to portion it out and put it in the freezer not bonk him over the head with it.
See, he gave it to me cuz he doesn't eat bread
HALF WAY THERE PEEPS! KEEP GOING!!!

Anyone who is working on developing healthy habits for a lifetime, will fall off the wagon many times before those new habits can become habits. Once the habits become habits, then our failure rate plummets. The UAC is NOT designed to be a one month challenge to be in the Winner's Circle. It's a group of people working together to be healthy for life by tracking our intake; calorie consumption and intentional exercise.

It was a grand Saturday. I rode horses with friends. 2 hours of actual horseback riding and a total of 7 hours of actual horse and farm energy burning activity. Really a fun day.
Calories: no problem
Tracking: good
Exercise: as noted above.7 -
3 yessss. 25 minutes of circuit training and lots of walking.5
-
Well only 2 yeses today - and all passes used already
I was just over calorie goal - but not feeling too bad since I didn't use that minor bobble (glass of wine) to lead to major gorging (desserts, desserts, desserts)! I'm going to keep going this month as I'm finding such inspiration and motivation here!5 -
I was a yes x 33

Exercise: Yes; a very busy day yesterday (and my first violin lesson!), but kept moving and did my dedicated exercises.
Calories: Yes--though I did indulge in a little ice cream.

July 15:
Exercise?: 35 minutes weight lifting at the gym, plus walking.
Plank?: Yes.
Calories?: Yes, barely.
Tracked?: Yes. Turned down one last drink because I knew it would put me over.5 -
Exercise: went and tried the driving range for the first time ever. It wasn't great. Was there about 45mins.
Kcl: 1528/1460 but I let myself use some of the exercise kcl. I generally get by without eating them back but I was so hungry. I made good choices with the extra bits so I'm not too bothered.
Tracked: yep5 -

Major NSV for me! My husband had two bowls of ice cream and I had ZERO! Ice cream has been one of my worst habits for quite a few months, so I was very happy to win this "battle".

have you tried halo top ice cream? it's a high protein ice cream but not a lot of calories per 1/2 cup serving. 1/2 cup seems to be just enough for me.1 -
