Hi All,
I'm trying to stay at or under 100g a day for carbs. I love carbs and don't want to cut them out completely or go very low on grams of carbs a day. I'm Looking for friends who are trying to stay in the same sort of range and or will support me at staying around 100g.

It's whatever works for you. Personally I slowly decreased my carbs. I started around 150 and I now stay around 50 net carbs. Some people can go straight to 20g but I can't do it.

We all love carbs. Many of us are still fighting urges to splurge. The love of carbs is what got us into this mess in the first place.
Forgive me for asking, if you've already mentioned this elsewhere, but are you looking to lose weight, or maintain?

I'm strictly a 'as few carbs as possible' person. 100g/day looks like a ton to me... (oh... wait.... :D )
Seriously, I aim to keep below 20g/day. Some days I go over by too much, by my standards. Others, I go well under. Mainly, I hover around the 18 - 22 mark...

Bumping for the other mod-carbers. Of which I am one. So feel free to add me.

I loved keto, and lost all my weight using it, but developed an autoimmune disease, often called "dry body disease." The diuretic nature of ketosis is just too much for me with an already dry body (think chronic/severe dry eyes, sinuses, mouth and sometimes lung, plus chronic fatigue and sometimes joint pain.) Ketosis is dry-eye hell. So...100-120g it is.

I am currently doing this, since I added fruit back for summer. I'm not logging as I was trying to just eat without it, but might start again.

@Adi4Fitness ...Did you know that it's possible to lacto-ferment any kind of vegetable or fruit (like cherries)?! The fermentation process allows bacteria to consume some of the sugars in fruits / vegetables so that the end product contains less carbs (i.e. less sugar) than the raw, uncooked version of the fruits / vegetables.

I'm in about that zone. I love my plants too much to get much lower! I focus on the type of carbohydrate more than the number. I strictly limit refined carbohydrates (including added sugars).

    Less.

(Responding to title). I don't think you can stay in ketosis at 100 carbs. Induction is usually 20 for first two weeks and then slowly add carbs until you aren't in ketosis and stop losing weight for most LCHF plans. My goal is 20-40 net. I know new Atkins prefers 40 per meal. I think that's way too high. But easier to fit their frozen meals, bars and shakes into your diet with (guffaw).

    I've experimented with a range from 20 to 120. I definitely support you! :)
I've dropped mine again just b/c I'm up to the top of my goal range for maintenance and I want to lose a few lbs to get back to the bottom half of my range, but I'm leaning toward 50-80/day for maintenance. I might also experiment with 75-100, at least on strength training days.

OP didn't mention if their goal is to stay in ketosis. Plenty of low carbers don't aim for ketosis.

I alternate between aggressive wt loss wks (net carbs<25g & IF 20:4) and wks when I use a lighter touch (net carbs<50g & IF 16:8). I am willing to live with 1/2lb/wk wt loss during light weeks to keep in the marathon mindset. I find the 1.5lb/wt loss during aggressive wks rewarding and motivating. I look forward to maintenance where I hope somewhere around 70g netcarbs will work for me, so I can eat more legumes and occassionally bake sourdough brioche and cornbread, while keeping proteins moderate and fats generous.
