In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your short term goals.[/b]
Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!
Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!
Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!
You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!
1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!
Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?
Check in often, have a great week and do the best you can!

I couldn't log or choose my diet most of last week (no internet, retreat type meeting with food provided), so my goals are easy for this week.
1) Log everything. Stay close to calory goal (I try to gain muscle, so I can't go for a large deficit, but I also don't want to overeat).
2) My sweets are going to be fruits and protein bars. No buying sweets. No eating the left over chocolate. I had a hard time in the last two weeks with cravings. I can win against them.4 -
Giving this a shot!
1. 9000 steps per day.
2. Log everything I eat.5 -
Logging constantly is my goal & getting to the gym 3 times this week . Also checking back here for all the fantastic support & motivation!5
-
Glad you're still here hearts! My goal: prepare a healthy lunch the night before work so I can continue eating well as I return to work this week.3
-
I've been using MFP of an on for years. I started with a serious lifestyle change to lose weight and get healthy at the beginning of the summer. Despite adding exercise, being more actives, logging daily, choosing healthy food and staying within my calorie goal 95 percent of the time my weight has not budged. My goal for this week is to not give up.5

Amazing to see the group focusing on such great mini goals. I love this group!! Looking forward to hearing back on how you are all doing.
@forestrose910 you are awesome as always :-) good luck with your goals this week. You are worth those steps and good decisions too xox
@velocity60 good goals! What workouts are you aiming to do this week? Looking forward to your update.
@schulzj73 great step goal and keeping yourself accountable by tracking every bite. It all starts there for me anyway. Good luck this week.
@skymningen love your all natural sweets goal. I am always rooting around looking for sweets and there is an apple on my desk that remains uneaten from last week. I will cut it up and eat it in lieu of chocolate today in support of your goal.
@mferoli what is a good indicator for you to flag that you are not giving up? We can support you if you report back.
@ladygloria - preparation is everything. We can all do better in this area. Good luck with the lunches!
I will check in each weekday.+ Saturday to report in on Friday..and for this I will
1) track and stay green!!! (0/5)
2) do my daily 15 minute headspace meditation in the morning (1/5)
3) go home for a healthy lunch 3 times this week

Ok today was day 1 of my August 30 day challenge.
I walked mile on the treadmill in thirty minutes.
I think staying within my calorie allotment is doable today.
Next workout day is Wednesday. Again I'll be walking for thirty minutes at the same speed. My goal is to make it a mile.3 -

You will achieve your mini goal this week with flying colors!! Yes you can do this. Baby steps are better than no steps at all. My goal last week was only to log what I ate. I did it and was able to identify some problem areas as a result. You go girl! I wish you the same success that I had. Good luck!3 -

Hello Warriors! I see some great great goals!! I cant reply to all.
Welcome back Julie and Hearts!! Welcome to new Warriors for sure!! Hope you like our awesome little group!! We try to help each other stay in the game regarding our mini goals which will help us reach our ultimate goals.
July was a good month for me!! Going to try to hit my de-cluttering goal more in August. I think I am going to change it to 10 min 3 days a week or something I have to get this going. If anyone has any ideas on some mini goals for this -- I would love to hear them. I am thinking of making a 10 min goal 3 days a week. Everyday would be great but I think starting with 3 days is better. Any thoughts on this subject?
Have a great week and I will post my mini goals for this week shortly!!2 -
Hello everyone!
My goal for this week is to:
respect the main meals and stop eating unhealthy snacks in between meals out of anxiety!3 -

Hey Molly- so glad you were on track in July. Keep it going. One suggestion for you decluttering goal is to set some type of alarm. So pick a time when you might be free and set an alarm. It could be on your phone as an appt or some other tech thing. If you think 7:00 would be good have it remind you at 6:45 and then go off again at 7. If not able to do a tech thing. Post a note somewhere to remind you. You can do 3 notes and remove when completed to a wall of greatness.1 -

Well here we are 8/1 ! How exciting ! I went to the gym yesterday & did the 30 minute weight machine room at planet fitness . I had a PT for most of the spring & honestly I didn't feel like I was getting my $ worth . I've decided to stop that & put in the work myself & push harder . So far in the past 2 weeks its working pretty good . Although I had huge batwing arms in some photos taken this weekend so I also think I need to change how I pose ! Silly I know but I saw the photos & was like WTF vo ! And I did notice I always reach across to hug my son or beau in a photo absolutely making a fat arm pose ! No more ! Now I'm aware !5

Worked out 30 min yesterday. Borrowed 22 calories from my workout but stayed within my daily allotment because I earned some calories because of my workout. Total calories yesterday. 1422. My problem areas are sugar, snacks, dinner. Eating too many calories too late in the day for dinner. Snacking on the wrong foods and getting too much sugar overall. Culprit seems to be my morning cup of coffee. Uggg.4

Working out Monday Wednesday Friday and staying within my daily allowed calories are my two goals for this week. Staying within my daily calories is going to be quite the challenge for me because I weighed in this morning and I've lost seven pounds. Normally, in the past whenever I've lost a little weight like this I reward myself with food, thus sabotaging my weight loss. I've got to find me a new reward system! Duh.4

This is my first time joining the mfp community, I felt like I needed some extra help losing 10 more pounds this august. Mini goals seems to work the best for me, so this week my goals are to:
1. Reach 12000 steps a day
2. Don't go over my calorie goal
3. Lose 2 pounds7
