Too bad driving doesn't count as exercise! Anyway, lots of dog walking before, mid-day, and after work.6 -
Went out with my wife and friends this evening. It was an indulgence, but I kept under my calorie limit. I went very light on breakfast and lunch, so I had more margin while with friends.
Tracking: works every time
Exercise: strolling with friends and wife for more than 30 minutes.7 -

Sadly it's pass #1. I hate to take one so early in the month but hubby brought out the sweet and salty popcorn at the end of the day and I mindlessly munched way over calories. Woops! That's good motivation to be more mindful.3

PASS # 1
My sister made us a very wholesome dinner of sweet potato, kale, green lentils, chopped tomatoes...etc. but I struggled to track it. This put me in the wrong mentality so I ate a banana and oatmeal after dinner, putting me over my allotted calories.

track, budget ...
Here is a wild card. I look at the nutrition label on my coffee creamer for the first time just the other day. 35 cals per tbsp. Whoa! that adds up to a coke before my morning is out.
So yeah, all of my previous tracking is invalid. True or false?
Exercise
Fun? Yard work. Hoeing up dead sod. That can almost be aerobic. It counts though. For how much, I don't know. I guess I won't put it in my budget.
@gus130. here is me thinking about you. I guess I don't know you too well but I know what your reality is. I am thinking thoughts of strength for you.
Image from my brain, hey, exercise related. Sometimes on the way to my trailhead I see these wild horses. Wild, yeah, right, look at them grazing at the side of the road. Looks more like somebody's horses got out. Strays. But not really. These horses haven't had an owner or been corralled or worn shoes for like generations. Neighborhood guys claim that they got DNA that proves that these horses ancestry goes back to some horses that Coronado lost. How they got baseline DNA from Coronado's horses I will never figure out. But maybe I don't get DNA.
But wild? Those horses won't run from you. I could put a rope around a neck if I wanted to.
Oh, and there is a pony off to the right that didn't get in the pic. So yeah, a sustainable bunch. Has been for a couple hundred years I guess.
