I am 4 months out from sleeve surgery and was stalling, so my nutritionist had me increase my calories to 900-1000 per day (I was previously eating between 650-850/day). In two weeks I gained 6 lbs!

At four months I was probably eating 1,500-2,000 calories. I think the TYPES of food one eats is way more important than calories. I stay away from processed foods especially refined carbohydrates and SUGAR.3

I'm 3 months out and have my goal at 1,000 calories per day. Most days I eat more than that, so I make sure to make any extra eaten calories my exercise calories so that I stay around 1,000. I'm losing around 1.5 to 2 pounds a week.3

800-1000 calories in my third month. Stalls are normal. Keep working your program and the scale will move down again.1

I was eating between 700-800 calories until I was around 6 months out but mainly because I ate so much grilled chicken, green veggies, and deli meat. I'm a year out and it usually falls between 1200-1500.0
