Hi All, my name is David and I have been a member here for a couple of years although pretty much a lurker. I wast diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in April of this year. I have CAD and have slowly grown to about 330 pounds. I finally got serious about low carb and modest calorie reduction and wanted to share this with anyone that may be interested. I have been eating less than 50 carbs(target) / day for about 4 months. During this time I have gone from 330# to 298# and am back down to "normal" sized clothes! But I was concerned with my bacon and eggs diet and what it might be doing ot my cholesterol. Well I got my latest results back and wanted to share!
Now your MMV but I am now convinced sugar and processed carbohydrates have caused most of my problems (along with gluttony and sloth and a a fondness for micro brew)
