Al....Prayers and good luck with the nuclear stress test. I went through that test a couple of years ago and since went through the regular walking treadmill stress test. The nuclear one I would take over the treadmill test any day but nuclear test was kinda weird the way it made me feel while going through it.

Anyway since I went through it and I just wanted to let you know that I was thinking about you and hoping you have a good report.

I also recently went through a carotid Doppler test. Not sure why my Cardiologist ordered it but probably because of my weight and age and that I have afib. What ever reason when I went back to see him a week later he said everything was clear and I was in good shape. Really a relief. So I hope and trust you have good results today.

    Thanks. The stress test went fine, but an hour after I got home, my PCP's office called and said you need to see a cardiologist TOMORROW. 10AM appointment with a doctor I don't know, but is in the same group as me regular cardiologist, so sure she's ok.
    I'll let you know, on this thread tomorrow, I hopw.

    Well, going for a catheterization. Monday. Probably another 1 or 2 stents. Hopefully that'll be non-eventful. Also re-adding Lipitor to my med list.

    OK here’s the scoop. They found 3 partial blockages, and the surgeon didn’t believe stents were the way to go, so a triple bypass is in the near future, a week or so.

    Will be having the bypass surgery on Sept. 12th. I have a feeling WW is taking a backseat. Guess I'm really a stress eater. Already feel like a bad case of effits coming on.
