    Hi all!
    My name is Melissa and I am 39 5'6 and 265 pounds.

    I live in central Oklahoma/USA with my 4 legged child. I work as a administrative assistant for a local casino. November 7th was the day I finally decided that i was fed up with the way I looked and felt so I decided to make a change. I have been counting calories and working out on a regular basis since then!

    Hi all. My name is Beth and I am 58 and weigh 233 pounds. I live in Metairie, La. (a suburb of New Orleans) with my husband and our two dogs. I also have a niece that lives with me when she is not away at college. I retired 7 years ago and made up my mind that I would make my health a priority (I struggle with cholesterol and HBP). I've been yo-yo'ing my weight ever since. I actually managed to lose 40 pounds and have gained, lost, gained, lost, and regained and am now back at the point I was 7 years ago. Stats:

    I'm 22 from Connecticut and work as a substitute teacher for a high school (and will hopefully become an English teacher soon). I don't really do much outside of work--I'm usually keeping the house all good for Mom :)

    I write a little bit, usually watch comedies and YouTube. I love makeup! It's like art for your face.

    I've got a boyfriend who lives 2 hours away :( Wish I could see him more than I do. I also have 2 dogs (English Bulldog and a Basset Hound) and 3 kitties.

    Hi my name is Angel. I am 37 years old from Wooster, Ohio. I am just getting started on this journey and realized I needed the support and help from others who are in my same position. I am a stay at home mother of 5. I have 8 grandchildren and love each and everyone of them. My 2 oldest daughters are step and all 8 grandchildren are step. However, I do not treat them any different than I do my own children. I am trying to start my own business but that doesn't seem to be going so well.

    Hi all, I am new to this site, having used Calorie Count off and on for a few years. I may be one of the oldest members-63, and have always struggled with my weight. I tend to be an emotional eater and am not very good at keeping track of what I am eating. I am a member of a gym, but haven't been in several months. I am now retired and am even less motivated than when I was working. I guess what I am looking for is someone in a similar situation who would be willing to support and motivate me as I would them. Additionally, I am female, married and a grandmother of 7. I live in New York. My weight is currently 159 and I would like to get down to 130 or less. I am short-less than 5'1" and seem to be shrinking annually. I hope that someone will see this and be willing to support/friend me. Thanks!

    Hey there, my name is Jade and I am a 23-year-old mother of 3 and a full-time student. I have struggled with weight since young adolescence, I have been through heck and back with eating disorders and continue to struggle with personal image. When I became clean, my main priority was to remain busy and healthy. I was also seeking a high, a clean high, I found that in treadmill running and heavy weightlifting. I am now just getting back into the swing of things since completing my first year of university and having my youngest child a few months ago and I am ready to take on the world!
    I live on the west coast in CANADA, I am 5'5" and my starting weight is 99.9kg (220 Lbs). I am a mesomorph type and have major issues with the extra weight around my midsection. My goals are posted on my profile, feel free to add me :smiley:

    Hi ;my name is Ece and I am a 36 year old doctor specialized in anaesthesiology and critical care medicine. I've had weight problems all my life. My BMI is traveling between 26 and 39 for almost 20 years. I am 162cm (5'3). 3 months ago i was 104kgs (230lbs) and feeling miserable about it. Then thanks god, suddenly i managed to change my life style. I consulted with a dietitian. Now i am 87kgs (192 lbs) and want to be 62kgs (136lbs). There is still much way to go.     Hi there. My name is Lauren. I work in the non-profit sector for an environmental organization. I love my job, but sitting at a desk all day has not been great for the ole bod. I am about 5 foot 9, weight 176 pounds. My ultimate goal is to reach 145 pounds. But I really just want to feel good in my skin again. My trouble area is my mid section. I just started an 8 week fat loss exercise program. I am on day 2 and feeling great so far. Feel free to add me.

    My name is Krysti and I'm 24 from Florida. I work fulltime at a call center, so I basically spend 1/3 of my days cooped up in an office that doesn't require physical activity. I'm not the most active in terms of exercise and my gym membership has been rotting away these last couple months. My husband is a sweetheart, but our definitions of working out and dieting are apparently a bit too different to coordinate. I'd love someone to help me get motivated!

    Hello Peoples,

    I am 46, a mom of three grown men who all live out of the house now. I have started many times to lose weight and always gained it back. I am now going for a lifestyle change not a diet. I have started Keto and it seems to work for me pretty well. I am down in weight and inches so far. Since June i have gone from a size 20 to a size 16 but really only lost about 35lbs. So its a good start. I live in Kentucky with my "Ber" that's the hubby and my two boxers Locutus & Jadzia Dax. I work as an office manager/executive assistant so my days are pretty manageable. I am now looking to start working out a bit but the gym intimidates me greatly. i have been a couple times in the past but either get discouraged or one time i fell off a machine. my fault entirely i am a "squirrel" and get distracted easily and lets just say the my feet couldn't figure out the elliptical. lol I hope to just find some support and enjoy the journey.

    Obesity has become a life and death issue for me. It also impacts the quality of my life on a daily bases. I have lost a lot of weight in my life and have gained a bit more than that. I weigh 350, am 59 years old. I want to loose 150, regain my health and enjoy my retirement. I would like a twin eho is similar and can provide support, accountability, motivation etc. Please cntact me. The effort is worth it. It is a journey. Thanks

    Hello Everyone,

    I am Ashutosh , 30 years.I am 5" 11" and around 211lbs . I started working out at early age but never continued for more then 3 months, which I do regret now .
    At this stage I feel this is it and I have to see "Best Version Of Myself" , so will surely be regular and gonna lift some heavy weights. Currently I am in worst shape of my life.

    I am IT professional from India(Mumbai) and travel to US often , during my last visit i got enough supplements to assist me during the transformation :smiley: !!

    Hi, I'm Shelly, and I'm a 51 year-old graphic artist. My high weight was 285, currently at 240 and hoping to get down to at least 140, but possibly lower (dare I dream 125?). I have yo-yo'ed by100-140 lbs twice before, but am determined to do a better job maintaining this time and hope MyFitnessPal can help on that front.

    Hi everyone! My name is Kat and I'm 22 years old and in my second year of college. I'm mostly on here looking for support! I've been wanting to lose weight to feel and look better for a long time now but what's really kicking me into gear now is that I have a long term girlfriend and we've been talking a lot about getting married and I want to look and feel as good as I can for when that day comes. Right now I'm 240 pounds but that's twenty pounds less than my starting weight of 260. My goal weight is 160lbs.

    I have some back problems and had surgery last April that sort of set me back but I'm starting to feel like myself again and ready to kick some butt!
