Sister went up to Dothan, Ala. to stay with her son.

    I hope everyone is safe.

Shelley, yes they were tears of joy. Ronan wants the hat all the time. DDD is going to get him a fedora his size. He can have all of Nick's hats when he grows into them. Looks like he'll have curls like Nick had. :)

Our trainer is back in town but caught a nasty bug in Utah. We are walking this morning.

    147.4 this morning at 5:00.

Paula...it's just water...water I say! Yes, he is a cutie pie! Thanks!

Clara, glad you are safe along w/all the books and cool mural!!

Kathy, hope you are doing okay and got passed up by Irma.

Stayed the same. Water, bloating, yes.

Chris, Yesterday's strange lightening (big ploppy rain drops and pealing thunder while the sun was shining?) sparked a fire near us. It sounds like they're getting it under control. Weird weird weird weird weird.

Paula...your lightening, pealing thunder and big ploppy rain drops arrived this morning! We are still debating whether to go out walking or not. Yeah, think we are staying in for a while. Amazing lightening show out on our patio.

147.2 this morning at 5:00. **sigh**

    Stay safe everyone.

I love to watch lightening! And big ploppy rain drops. :p Without the fire of course!

Clara I also am glad you all saved the mural. While it is all so heartbreaking, I feel something deep inside when folks come together and help each other.

Chris a fedora in little Romans size will be so cute!

150 this morning. Hopefully tomorrow is better.

    Kathy stay safe.

Rocky was supposed to get a shot for pain in his neck today. Took time off from work to take him. They had to reschedule it for tomorrow. Some scheduling mix up. He is not happy. A friend of ours is going to take him for me. So happy to have friends.

We walked at 7:00 yesterday. Lightening, pealing thunder and big ploppy rain drops went on toward Mt. Diablo. Bet it was an amazing sight from the top of the mountain!

Fedora, suspenders and bow tie ordered yesterday. Should arrive tomorrow. I'll try and get pictures for you.

Hope Rocky is feeling better today. Friends are good!

148.0 this morning. Will be better tomorrow.

Wow, he's in pain and they can't take 10 minutes to give him a shot after all the trouble to get him there?!?! That is so confounding! They need to give you a "get a pain shot for free" card!

    Chris, pictures! :)

165.5 this morning - better. But I just polished off a couple bagels. Time to walk it off!!!

147.8 this morning at 5:00. Doc gave me muscle relaxant pills for my shoulder, which I take at night...I think the are plugging the pipes...ugh. :s **sigh**

Fedora, bow tie and suspenders arrived yesterday. <3<3

Got a Wonder Woman shirt for DDD and a little statue of WW on her horse. She is so stressed w/her class this year, I need her to smile.

Chris that is awful. You take something to feel better to just get other issues! I love wonder woman. The shirt should help. And good thing she had Ronan before those other kids scared her off from having her own.
Did I mention they moved his surgery, DH, up to the 27th of this month? He is excited.

And Paula I should have read your post before I had a doughnut for lunch! Why did I do that? But it is better than last month. I got up to eating 2-3 at a time! Yeah. This time I bought only one. And no other junk. I am making a chocolate zuchinne cake. The grandkids are coming over to watch some more Grim. I should send them home with the left overs also!

I just was interrupted by a phone call from a gal who is pro life. Wanting to save unborn children. I am all for saving babies. But I am also for not taking away women's choices. I will not anger anyone with my thoughts on this.

I did walk off some of that doughnut in the cool morning air. That dog stroller is awesome. Oscar loves it.

    Well I better get baking.

She loved the WW shirt and little statue. I have more cute WW statues on the way. I love Amazon!!!

Made a different soup this morning. Working on some Ritz and PB&J. The Ritz are low salt. I love Grimm. Haven't watched it lately, though.

Shelley, I'm with you on not taking away women's choice. The decision is the woman's not some politician's.

DDD had nasty headache this morning. Migraine during the night. We did not workout w/our trainer. I did walk w/DH this morning.

Hope everyone has a good Saturday.

Have not been tracking so not sure what to expect when I weigh in. Library building has been gutted on flooded first floor. Now just waiting for rebuilding to start. They didn't lay off anyone, just send us to help at other locations. We had 4 buildings flooded so 70 displaced staff members. Now the open branches have lots of staff! I've been helping out at my old branch. At the end of the month they're sending me to manage a branch whose old manager got promoted. I'll be there till my location reopens. Kind of excited about being in charge of a new location.

Chris I finally went and saw WW Saturday. It was awesome! Now I might need a poster. She makes me want to lift heavy again! So inspiring. I hate headaches. Hope she is feeling better soon.

Clara it sounds like such a huge job! And so glad noons was sent home.

Weighed in at 150. Must have been the snacking at WW!

I'm putting this on both threads...

Had a bone density test today...found out I'm a inch and a half shorter than the last time I got measured years ago. I'm no longer on the tall-side. And I'm at the top of the weight chart for my new 5' 5.5" body!!! OMG!! I'm so depressed...hahahahah! That could be a joke...depressed...man! :s

Now the work really begins...man! I just can't believe it. **sigh**

    Chris,

Last measurement had me at 5'9" now (down 3/4"). And I'm 163.5 today. My BMI says 160 is overweight. But the weight doesn't show as much when it sags. That's why folks still think I'm thin.

De-pression warning. Watching the news can be bad for your height.

Watching the news is just depressing! Well at least you two started out tall! I am only 5'4 to begin with! Yikes, I will shrink away to a mini me some day! Should we get one of them things that flips us upside down? B)

So what is your plan Chris? What work are you going to be doing?

I weighed 162 this morning - the first time in almost two years

    317 January 2013 - All time high
162 July 2014 - On the way down (bariatric surgery = "easy")
138 April 2015 - All time low (and the end of "easy")
162 December 2015 - On the way up again
176 July 2017 - What it crept back up to
    162 September 2017 - Going down again (knowledge + fight = success)
    145-150 January 2018 - Final goal range

    147.0 this morning at 5:00 a.m.

Shelley, I'm cutting back and weighing my food again. I am going to stay away from triggers and not buy them. I won't be tempted by what my DH eats. I need to get back to 138 and get rid of this belly. My trainer said 130 was going to be way too skinny for me now that I have so much more muscle than three years ago. I'll reevaluate when I hit 138.

    What is your plan, ladies?

Paula it seems I am feeling the same nasty high as you. And I do not even dare get on the scale after last night!

Chris, Rocky bought me a super large bag of tootsie rolls! I like your plan. Now I must do something with those tootsie "rolls".

I did take some bands to work and have been using them when I am not busy. Have a nice little burn going!

I got on the scale. While 150 is not good, after last night I am happy with it!

Shelley, tootsie rolls go in your car trunk if they can't go in the trash. Or take them to work and give them to a "friend" ...nah, trash is best. Rocky is so sweet, tho.

Smart move w/the bands at work!!

Thanks Chris! Now all I need to do is look up some more ideas for their use! I have 2 types at work. The flat long ones and a continuous circle type. Now about them tootsie rolls.........yesh! I watched Epic in 3D this evening! There is a Ronan in it! Fantastic! You must get it for your Ronan!

    146.8 this morning at 5:00.

Shelley, does the circle type go around your legs? I can see you walking down the hall with the bright green band around your ankles...gun in holster, night stick strapped to you other side, spinning your handcuffs on your finger, bouncing your head to the music that plays in your head from the show Epic that you watched last night... ;)

Buahaha. Chris I can see me doing that also!. Remember John Travolta strutting his stuff in dirty dancing? I should finish with some fancy shooting and blowing on the smoking gun! :drinker:

Weighed in at 149.2 this morning! Much better. Did 20 minutes of non stop kettles with my daughter! Funny, she was complaining at about 28 minutes in that there were no breaks! She thought it was an hour workout. Nope, just steady!
