Sept: 160 m running, purposeful walking
18th: 4 miles purposeful walking - MTD 106.66
I shall be spending most of the day travelling tomorrow - and then I'm not sure how 'connected' I'll be ....
ETA: visited my doctors Nurse Practitioner today. My 'cold' was in its 10th day, with no sign of abating, and a headache and pain at the base of my skull was beginning to .... aggravate me. Turns out I have a sinus infection bad enough to need antibiotics. I also got roasted for running yesterday: "no wonder you feel unwell!! You probably made yourself worse!". Mmmmm1 -

@k80flec Cool medal! If I could find a castle, I might suck up the motivation to run more
@anaconda469 Aww ... your miles, endurance and stories always amaze me. And 50 feet is still a lot more than a lot of people are willing to do. If you ever want to give running a shot, I'd recommend the C25K program. It's wonderful.
Adding 2 miles from Boot Camp this morning. My legs are sore from my race, so I wasn't doing so well in the sprints across the turf. I love being outside so early, we had the constellation Orion over our heads.

My road bike is officially off the road and locked on the turbo trainer. I had the trainer specific rear tire put on so its done til Spring. We finally are getting rain for a few days, but sadly lightning came with it. Supposed to warm back up by weekend. Meantime its the hamster wheel for me

HI everybody! Gosh I haven't been on since the 5th. Moving like a snail due to heel pain but on some days it's not to bad so I try to walk some. Had my surgery on the 17th & can only walk or ride ex bike for awhile. Since the 5th I've walked 22.5 miles & used ex bike for 10. Made the small goal I had set but will continue to plug away!
Good job to all of your success's & wish you all WELLNESS!!

@vhuber: Missed you. How did your surgery go? Hoping that things improve. Any rain?
@Lovemyalex: How wonderful! Hope all goes well for a safe and smooth delivery. My music team mate had her baby today at 3:30. She hung in to a day before her scheduled leave. Babies are so exciting.
@tahm42 : Glad you made it through Irma. Praying no more major storms.
Keeping good thoughts to all who have had health issues, family situations, weather issues. Here is hoping things are improving.
Sept. 19: Adding 15 miles today although my ticker did not work yesterday. Walking and running for 10 and cycling for 5.

I really did mean to get on here more than once a week. Too much work, not enough walking, but still fighting on. The hard part is I'm usually not over 40 hours but it's a few hours here and a few hours there. Could start as early as 8 AM, end as late as 11PM. I need to force myself to get out during the breaks and MOVE.
Added 7.25 miles for a September total of 31.75 miles. And I had such high hopes for this month.
I admire all of you who run or bike for many miles. My little feet can walk, running only happens if something big and scary is chasing me. And I do have my bike, but my riding is limited to 10 miles on a good day, less this year with my crazy schedule. But that's why I love this group, we all do what we can and everyone's success is celebrated no matter how small. Thanks everyone!4
