For another challenge I weighed myself for 10 days straight to see fluctuation. Was down 139.6 last week. TOM and back where started. Not going to let it bother me and throw in towel.

New goal .... Hopefully by next week back to starting at 140

This is exactly why I am a firm believer in weighing daily and watching the trends, rather than weighing only once a week. If I weighed last week on a "low" day, and this week on a "high" day, I would be SO discouraged by what appears as no progress, or possibly even a gain. But if I weigh daily, then I can get comfortable with the normal fluctuations and not freak out over what may just be a little water retention.

I have to cut out this sweet tooth and let go of processed food. Too know what's keeping me back and to keep doing it, I know I'm insane! Let's do this ladies.

Starting Weight, Sep 11: 161 (seeing that I'd gotten over 160 this morning prompted me to log back in here. I haven't tracked since 2015.)
    Current Weight: 161
    Goal Weight: 145 by Christmas.

Candy and Thanksgiving between now and then.

This week is really about counting and switching everything to water and no cal options. I always feel like the water switch is a "free" 5lbs. [/quote]

Started Keto today. I am recovering from hip surgery (3 weeks post op), so I am very sedentary which is extremely difficult for this runner. I need to lose this weight by diet alone, so I'm going to work hard!

1 week later and the scale hasn't budged from 125lbs - but I am almost certain I am holding onto a lot of water weight since I had a buffalo chicken mac and cheese yesterday for lunch that sent me over my Sodium limit by over 1,000!!! Here's to the next week!

I haven't lost any weight this week confirming that I haven't been honest enough with my food logging. I'm great at exercising, I ran 3 times last week and used my TRX twice. Going to focus on food this week, need some better habits.

I lost half a pound but I technically started above 152...so I am leaving it at 151. I had a great movement week. I did 2 workouts, went for a run and 15,000-20,000 steps almost everyday!!!

This week, I want to get in 5 workouts and LOG. I broke the habit and I can't get back into it.

But by Christmas I really wanted to be under 160lbs!

UGH. I am frustrated this week! The scale said something lower yesterday, but I'm going to be honest for myself and write down the number I got today. I'm not sure if I've over-eaten this week or if this is water or hormonal or what. To be honest, this is the first time I haven't gotten what I expected on the scale since I started, in mid July.

Stayed even this week but happy about that - I had a 6 day business trip with little time for exercise, lots of drinking and nice restaurants. I did a good job avoiding apps, bread and desserts.

Goal this week is down 0.5 to 1 lb. I plan to make up for last week and exercise daily for 45 min+.

Starting weight- 170 lbs. Current 164 lbs. Goal 155

With 15 weeks left, I have high hopes that will exceed my goal. I started a weight loss challenge at my gym 2 weeks ago and I'm in 8th place by percentage of weight loss out of over 100 people! My final weigh in is on 11/13, I hope to be down another 15 pounds by then, which I know is aggressive but I'm determined :).

It's been another week and I am still maintaining at 125lbs...

I think I am still happy because I ate TERRIBLY week/weekend to celebrate my anniversary so at least I didn't go up. Plus - I have so little weight left to lose I think I need to be honest with myself that the weightloss will be much slower now and require a lot more concentrated effort. I am hoping by the end of October to get down to my goal weight of 122lbs - but we'll see how that goes.

Congrats to everyone else maintaining or losing. Lets keep on track for Christmas!

I know how frustrating this is. I have been in your shoes before. When I am not seeing progress, I have a mantra "Trust the plan," that I say to myself over and over. If you are eating healthy and exercising, your body is bound to respond eventually! Even if the scale is not currently cooperating, you are doing good things for yourself to be healthier and stronger. (Of course, this only works if your plan is a good one. :-) )

  • @MicheleStitches Thank you for the encouragement! I'm continuing to stick to my plan, yes! Hopefully the scale will catch up with all my good effort next week :)
