Hi I also started keto last Tuesday and I recommend going to ketokarma.com. She explains the diet in detail and documents her journey on YouTube. She’s a great source of inspiration and I’ve lost 10.2 in 10 days! Good luck to you.

That's funny I'm starting it tomorrow as well! I'm turning 30 tomorrow. I'm 6' 245 male and my goal is to have discipline in my nutrition and not backslide after a few weeks!

I learned about keto from https://www.reddit.com/r/keto/

That and also from youtube and my mother-in-law who was already doing keto. What intrigued me most was the idea of eating fat will leave you satiated so your not hungry. Being on a diet and feeling hungry all the time sucks. I love it so far.

Welcome to a great way of life. I started Keto about a month ago. I started IF about 2 months ago. I slipped up for 2 days after doing it steady for 10 days. Boy, the bad eating after a string of good days made me realize that cheat days are not worth it. I use YouTube for motivation and encouragement and ideas. I watch a few at night to keep myself inline. There is a girl named Kally who has done it on a budget and lost 170 and not come off for over 2 years... there is a role model!

I'll post this here compliments of @acasp04 who posted it on her newsfeed a week or so ago. I've been around keto for a while and think this is some of the best info I have seen-all in one fine link.

For science based guidance you can trust on keto I highly recommend this resource.
    http://www.tuitnutrition.com/?m=1
There’s a lot of people out there that sound very convincing giving out some seriously unsound advice.
    This one you can trust.
