Did not weigh this morning. We have 2 sick dogs and I'm an emotional wreck. I've already had a double cheeseburger and trying to rein in emotional eating. I'll weigh in tomorrow and for today, work on being strong. We all have those binging moments, after dropping over 70 pounds they still creep in. Its called life and we all fight demons one way or another. Its during those times we have to remember it can become a nasty cycle. Be well friends

Good morning all,
So so pleased with my results this week - down 3.4 lbs (that's 2.4 lbs overall). Virtually unheard of for me. But I'll take it.
I've done a few things differently this week: I've been trying to drink more water. I've been reading a few articles on the subject and it's definitely something top pursue. Also, I was reading that stream last week of tips from people who've lost over 100 lbs - many discussed balancing of macronutrients. I'm still researching to determine the best balance for me. This week I've been endeavouring to follow: 45% carbs, 35% protein, 20% fats. Very difficult to achieve 35% protein (not so much for 20% fats) but it certainly has me making better choices. Lastly, I've been vigilant about getting exercise everyday - AND NOT EATING MY EXERCISE POINTS
Here are my stats:
Original MFP starting weight: 238 lbs
Ultimate Goal Weight: 140ish lbs
Starting weight for this Challenge: 202.4 lbs
Goal for this Challenge: 182.4 lbs

Week 2: 202.0 lbs
Week 3: I was away so no weigh-in
Week 4: 203.4 lbs

Week 6: 200 lbs
Have a great week, everyone!3 -

Commercially prepared foods have so much sodium in them. If you're now preparing your own lunches, you're probably consuming a lot less sodium. Plus drinking lots of water. You'll probably see great results this week. And you lost almost 3 lbs this week - that's awesome!!1 -

Yes! No wonder; I'd just been cramming protein bars down my gullet instead! Prepared meals go a long, long way. And fresh fruit and veg.0
