Ado many Christmas festivities we are doing this weekend. I wanna cheat and enjoy the weekend BUT I am at 151 and so dang close to my goal. I just may be good all week and save Christmas eve and Christmas day for my cheats. 155 was my Christmas goal... so at least I beat that!9

On Thursday we have our department's holiday luncheon. We are scattered all over the Eastern side of NY State, so many of my coworkers haven't seen me since a training session in the early part of Summer. So I'm really determined to stick with the plan this weekend and up to Thursday in hopes of shedding a couple more pounds before then. I told my boss to make sure to have some low carb options for the lunch, so hopefully he does. If not, I'll nibble on veggies and grab something at McDonalds on the way back home. Or have something waiting for me in the fridge when I get back to my office. Over the holidays, we usually have ham/mashed potatoes/gravy/some kind of veggie/roll and butter. We don't go all out like we do at Thanksgiving. I made it thru T-giving, so I know I can make it thru Christmas. I made my goal of getting under 200, so my new goal is to STAY under 200 for the new year!9

Well, yesterday I was at 197.8. Trying not to get discouraged. I keep going back and forth between 198.4 and 197.8. At least I am still under 200, so that's good. I've got one Christmas work party this week, and I've asked my boss to make sure there are some low carb options, so hopefully he'll do good. He drove out during a storm to pick me up a quarter pounder w/out a bun from McDonalds once, so he knows. Hope everyone has a great week!5 -

My goal for December is to track my macros daily and stay on track with Keto 100%
12/10 - Overall a good first week. Not really any cravings, just a bit of energy slump mid-days.
12/17 - Holiday parties and the food didn't temp me - very happy about that! No more afternoon slump. Not really hungry at all but trying to hit my macros.3 -
I weighed at home today because I'm sure my weight won't be very accurate at the clinic tomorrow. I have a colonoscopy tomorrow so basically fasting all day today. (Among other things, Lucky me...) LOL
I managed to avoid the serious temptations of baking cookies with the kids and other Xmas treats.
One-derland is in my sights!

Yeah, at least it's down!
We're now staying with my niece who has been trying to get us to come to her since the fire at our house so we are here until after New Year so I now have a kitchen again! Tomorrow we start the temporary house rental search as they've said our house will be three to six months, which dooesn't surprise me as absolutely zippo has happened thus far!!
My amazing news though for anyone who remembers that I had to be tested for the BRCA1 Breast cancer gene and my results came back clear which means my kids are all clear as well. That's one excellent Christmas present, who cares about houses or weight!!10 -

Progress is slow, but it's still progress. I'll make sure to try harder this next week.

I took this week, beat it down and OWNED IT!! All that water weight...GONE! I did move my meal times around a bit. Eating earlier worked better. I also think I really need to pay attention to getting more protein every day.
Goals this week: Well thought out meals that include more protein, consistent exercise, have fun at all the festivities and ONEDERLAND!!!
