@tcunbeliever - I have run into some bizarre numbers on MFP either too low or no carbs or really hard carbs for something is minimal. I always dble check now esp for recipes to make sure it is accurate. Also try searching for yr item as a net carb.0

But I’ve seriously only ate breakfast which was eggs bacon small side of spinach and a tablespoon of feta cheese and it’s showing I’m already over my % on my macros??? I’m so confused as I believe these foods are acceptable. Can anyone help me?0

first of all, i always try to use verified items on MFP. if i can't find a verified version for an item, i google it for nutrition and then look for one on MFP that matches up with what i find. secondly, i always plan my food out one day in advance. this helps me with shopping and also helps me to stick to it. if something changes for me during the day, i go in and change/adjust it. this is just what works best for me.

Ok! I need to talk to someone!
I have been in ketogenic diet for more than 3 weeks. I started at 235 and went down to 222.5 in about 10 days. Suddenly it stopped and my weight started going up! In one day it went up to 227 and then again came back to 222.5. And now I am gaining weight. Almost 1 pound a day!!! I get about 1200 to 1400 calories a day, more on the 1200 side. I take vegetables. I measure accurately and definitely take less than 30g of carbs. 20% protein and 70% fat. I am 5' 6" and female. I don't exercise. In addition, I do 23/1 fasting as well. I keep hydrated and consume enough electrolytes. I also use urine test stripes everyday and they show that I am in ketosis. Usually around 1.5. I alao make sure that I weigh myself in the same condition everyday.
Anyway, it's been 10 days that it's like this, and it's getting very annoying. Staying on this weight and now even gaining weight is just so so so unfair. I am really disappointed and so sad! What am I doing wrong? Please someone help me. I really need some information to know what to do.
So, you lost a pound a day for 14ish days, and then gained back less than five pounds in just over a week. You know what that is? That's water weight. When you first transition, your body dumps tons of water weight and the scale falls much faster than you could ever actually lose fat. At some point, usually around the 2-4 week marks, your body adjusts and/or has no more water weight to lose. All those glycogen stores you used up during the first weeks? Those are important! Your body used them because it thought there was an emergency. Now it knows there isn't one. It will start to slowly refill them using the glycogen it can make from fat and protein. You will put some of the lost water weight back on. This is normal, healthy, and absolutely must happen. While it is happening, you will see a dramatic decrease in weight loss, a complete stall, or even a weight gain as the change in water weight hides the fat loss still going on.
This sort of thing happens all the time with weight loss. It's not a line, straight down. It's more a roller-coaster. You drop a whole bunch at first, have times where you go up, then you go back down (sometimes you expect to even see a loop), but in the end, your weight will end up lower than it started. At that point, people will say "I lost 90 pounds in 18 months! That is 5 pounds a month." And, everyone else will think it means the person lost almost exactly 1.2 pounds a week the whole time. When, really, there were weeks that the scale was up (possibly several weeks in a row) and weeks when the scale dropped way faster than expected. Zoom in on the weight loss graph, and some weeks it won't even seem like the person is losing any weight at all.
Be patient. This weight wasn't put on in a month. It won't come off in a month. It didn't go on at a steady rate. It won't come off that way either.5 -
Perhaps take a look at Dr Jason Fung... https://idmprogram.com/blog/ He is a wealth of knowledge about keto and health issues and has no financial interest - he just wants to see people get well.

Thank you FIT_Goat - I just posted a similar post about not losing weight and this has helped me tremendously!
